I'm really pondering to buy a back up of Hipness... if it's still available of course...
Has anyone run out of a blush??

I have never run out of a blush but I dont wear makeup everyday and I rotate through mine. I have read different places that it usually takes around 6 months to use an entire blush if used everyday.

I've only run out of chanel blushes and those took me like 4-5 years with semi frequent use.

That settles the matter then!

It's very nice, gives a nice flush without being over the top, for everyday use.
Of course it can be bold as well.

Well, I have a few other blushes to rotate so I think I'm safe till they repromote it.

Thanks everyone!!

I purchased In The Buff n/l from Mac.com today. I can't wait to get it. I went and looked at Temptalia's swatches of this collection and I just had to have it.

Now that Dare to Wear is here and a bunch of new collections are upon us I'm still loving TTB!!!

ML is the best powder ever - except for Stereo Rose MSF - let's not go there! and I absolutely love Sweet/Punchy e/s. (I backed that puppy up!)

Flurry of Fun gloss is wonderful and let's not forget Thrills l/s and Temperature Rising l/l.

My local MAC store still has Humid & Shimmermoss e/s and a few of the glosses.

They may have GAB blush and the cream bronzers but I didn't ask.

So now my favorite collections thus far are/were (not in order): TTB, CC, and SB.

Different blushes will of course be different, but I can tell you that it took me a year and a half of daily use to hit pan on my Nars Orgasm. I'm still no where near running out of it, but I haven't used it as often for the past year.

I know that different blushes take different amount of time to finish, but many forums I visited most people said that they finished a MAC blush in around 6 months. With googling I read the same info with daily use.

i wouldn't back up a blush, personally. even if you use it every day, it would probably take a year (at least) to run out completely. by that time, chances are good it'll have been repromoted or you'll find something else you like.

today i'm wearing a fun TTB look (my first time wearing fun makeup in like a month - was too busy studying to care about makeup lately!):

sweet and punchy in the inner corner
humid from the middle of the lid to the outer corner
shimmermoss packed over the outer v
atlantic blue in the crease
blacktrack/feline/opulash (nothin' special there)

and hipness on cheeks.

i'm going out for all you can eat sushi tonight, so probably nothing on the lips!

A year and a half, 6 months both sound good! I have no idea when to hit pan on my blushes. Hope it will happen soon, but I doubt it. Most of them still look like new. I wear them everyday with rotation. I'm hoping to finish anything MAC. I'm dreaming about doing B2M!

That sounds very pretty! No, you won't need any lips for all you can eat sushi.

Hitting pan, hitting pan.

Hmmm ...

The MAC things I've hit pan on are:
Amber Lights e/s (several times)
Nylon e/s
Rice Paper e/s
Espresso e/s
Tilt e/s
and
Harmony and Raizin blush.

Plus lipsticks of course.

I've managed to do away with 2 or 3 Ruby Woo l/s my absolute fav. red.

Now I'm laying waste to my Marine Life highlight powder and Sunny by Nature msf.

I've worn ML so much this summer the design is wearing away!

I've managed to create so many new brown and coral and pink looks for myself this summer because of ML!

This has been a corally couple of months: ML, Coral Crepe p/p, TTB items, Meltdown l/s. Go corals!

ML is soooooo freakin' gorgeous! Sometimes when I look at it I want to eat it!
