I have Refined Golden but I don't like it. It applies very muddy on me for some reason. I've never had a blonzer apply muddy on me before.. I have NARS Laguna and I love it much more. Same goes with Benefit Holla and the Stila bronzer.

What should I tell you? I love Refined Golden, wear it almost every day. It does not look muddy but gives a perfect sheer tan.

I haven't tried any other bronzers so far.

I always felt Refined Golden was too dark on me (NW20), so Golden is a bit more wearable for me- BUT, Solar Riche was the best of all!

I think Golden and Refined Golden are the same colour - the difference is that Refined Golden has this golden sheen which Golden hasn't got.

Yes, Solar Riche is nice, too!

I never wore blush 2 years ago. And now I have a whooping 9 blushes (and this doesn't even include MSF yet, which I have 4).

I'm NC20 in Studio Sculpt and Select SPF15, and I love Refined Golden.

The only other bronzer I've tried is Bobbi Brown's. That one look really muddy on me.

Can't remember which shade I wore (cause I swapped it away already), but I'm pretty sure it's the lightest one they have.

i have the too faced pink leopard bronzer and i quite like that. i also have mac refined golden but don't use it very often, i prefer the too faced one if i'm honest.

I'm NW20 also, and the only MAC bronzer I've tried is Refined Golden. I like it a lot and don't find it dark on me at all. Actually, I have to build to get enough color! I haven't tried Solar Riche

What was good/different about Solar Riche? Is it darker/lighter or does it have some pink to it?

I love Laguana! That's one of my fave bronzers next to Too Faced Sun Bunny

Thanks Susanne...I should prob at least try it in the store then. I have a feeling I'll stick to Nars and Too Faced

I have Too Faced Sun Bunny and it's love! Nars Laguana is awesome too. I wear Laguana all the time and Sun Bunny in the summer.

Seems like my list for this collection is only Hipness blush....and that is if it doesn't look like anything I have

Well as you can see from Susanne's pics it is a bit lighter, and yes perhaps slightly pinker or more Terra cotta. I wish I had them both with me to compare. And there seems to be less shimmer, so for me it applies quickly, and requires less blending. But as you can see, everyone has their own preference.

Shadowy, I use to wear Refined Golden everyday and it was my HG bronzer (and my very first MAC bronzer). But after awhile I realized it was kind of making me look orangey... it was a really fake looking bronzey orange color on me
ssad.gif
I now have Solar Riche and really like it but if you have bronzers you really like, I don't think MAC bronzers are a must-have. Just my opinion though- I live in FL so I don't really wear bronzers all that much anymore LOL

yey, I'm glad you answered coz ur my skintone twin and I trust your review. If it looked orangey on you it prob will on me too. I wear bronzers most of the time here as we don't have as much sun as u guys. Last year it rained 4 days a week in the summer
shockt.gif
. That's when I discovered Nars Laguana to give myself a glow and it seems like there's no going back

Girls has anyone of you compared any of these 2 Mac bronzers , with Estee Lauder's Bronze Goddess Soft Matte??? I'm desperate!!! It's the only bronzer I own ( besides Sunny By Natute MSF) and it's invisible on me ( NC25). I was thinking getting one of the 2 that will come out with To The Beach, but if they're somehow similar ( tone wise) to the EL one I better skip them.

I am NW 20 in the dead of winter, NW 25 most of the time...I also have light olivey undertones. I found Golden to be too yellowy for me. I use the next darker one and I can't think of the name...sorry...use it lightly or Nars Laguna applied heavier.

Maybe I'll whip out Refined Golden and give it another go. I know you love it Susanne!
smiles.gif

I find that either it's too sheer in the beginning and then all of sudden my face is all dirty looking. I've never got it to work for me no matter what brush or technique I use. The only reason why I keep it is because of the Style Warriors compact.
