MAC - To The Beach Discussion

I'm seriously debating whether to get Marine Life or not. It seems really pretty but I'm gonna get Stereo Rose and I don't need 2 coral blushes. I know they are really different but I don't have the money to buy both.
What shall I do?!

I have a new rule for myself if I am debating something... If there is the word "but" in the sentence, I pass on it. Because if I get it, in the end, I regret the purchase and end up swapping or selling it.

By saying "but" I have already made up at least one excuse why I don't need it.

I have had to remind myself of this, with this collection especially. I am passing on Marine Life, because as pretty as it is to look at, it is similar enough (for me) to Hipness, which I already have, plus I just got Instant Chic.

I keep hearing lots of raves and excitement for the cream bronzers over the powder ones, but I have oily skin and anything with the word cream in it scares me. Does anyone know about MAC cream products causing breakouts?

Get Stereo Rose msf. To me the msf is worth my money.
I hate the so called "highlight" powders because it's just an over spray and the overspray is only on the top layer. Atleast with the msf it's like a 2 in 1 product, a blush and a powder that gives a highlighted/glowy effect.

ML is pretty looking but it's just going to sit in my drawer untouched.

I have been eyeing on hipness for the longest time ever! & i went to read Temptalia today, she did a makeup look & said that it can be substituted with Benefit's coralista!

I have coralista so i'm wondering if i should skip hipness. Anyone with both hipness & coralista willing to do a swatch for me

I have both, i prefer Hipness on me because it shows up more on my skin than coralista. Hope this helps.

I wish i had Coralista to swatch both for you, but i gave it to my sister. If anyone in here has got both blushes you can see a swatch and judge. I'll feel bad if it looks the same on you because i know MAC in AUS is a tad over priced

Same here, Marine Life is it for me, although I know I will never use it, it will just sit in a drawer & be pretty. I might get Get Away Bronze also, but need to think about it some more & see it in person or see a bunch more swatches first to convince me to put it on my list.

I got an invite to go to the launch party at my local pro store. I've never been invited before. I can't decide whether to go as all I really want from this collection is Hipness. Will I look silly if I go and only buy one itty bitty blush?
