MM is sold out on the Canadian MAC site now.

My stores/counters around me were sold out of that one.. I have NARS Taj Mahal do I really need MM? How close are they?

i don't know about need, but they are pretty different, at least on me. talking purely of colour, and not finish, mm has more white in it, and is more like a peachy colour...tm is more towards rich burnt orange. when i look at mm i think citrus, and when i look at tm, i see saris and saffron.

Well, I back ordered Modern Mandarin at two places. I didn't feel like calling and stalking stores... so done with that crap when it comes to mac. I got everything I wanted but that, which, at first, the only thing I was sure of. At this point, if I get it, I get it, if I don't, I don't...

Call around to see if an item on hold managed to not be picked up and be put back up for grabs? It happened to me once. I think I was asking around for Lightscapade (because mine was a beigescapade) and the MUA was able to give the held item to me. =) It might be a long shot but it might work!

I went and picked up my Nordstrom pre-order this evening and ended up snagging another Modern Mandarin! The counter I went to was only sold out of Lovecloud. They also sold out of Pink Popcorn and everything else was still available. For anyone still looking for certain items, Nordstrom stores can use their computer system to check out other locations in the area for availability and can place items on hold or ship them to your door! There is a small fee for shipping but that is only if the purchase is under $25.

FYI, Pink Cult and Pink Tea swatched totally different on me. I was amazed. Pink Cult looked a muted mauve. Pink Tea looked coral compared to PC. =)

NC20 asian here. I got full of joy, modern mandarin, lovecloud and pink cult. I still really want pink tea Q______Q

I wore full of joy today and it is amazingly pigmented. I gently tapped my 129 shorthandle into the blush pan and onto my cheek and it really looks purple! more purple than sakura. I am very pleased and it is so unique <3 It looks so awesome with the lavender side of hang loose mineralize duo blush as a highlighter and contoured with nyx taupe. i wore cream cup lipstick with this and it was very dolly looking.

modern mandarin isn't as red and scary as i thought it was. its this beautiful apricot whitened orange that is also unique to my stash.

pink tea was like a baby pink and so lovely i really want to go back for it.

immortal flower is really pale peach and didn't swatch very well on my arm. it was slipping off and so hard. D; but I am happier with modern mandarin. I think with a super light hand it will look amazing.

pink cult is very cool toned mauvy pink. its gonna be a great neutral blush for me.

lovecloud is a beautiful bubble gum bright warm pink. its a more intense giggly which i also love, so i got it. my bf pointed out that it was a must.

I really love these blushes. they are pigmented and buldable <3

A friend of mine went to get her stuff this morning and was 3rd in line when MAC opened. Apparently the first lady before her bought a ton of the stock and when she was done, she said to the herself and the MA, "yay! now I can sell them!". I can't believe they would have sold her so many items and that she would actually say that out loud -- to the MA of all people!! Shame on her. The next lady bought a few things and then Modern Mandarin was sold out! Luckily for my friend, she went over the Macy's and they happened to have a couple left.

I can't believe how fast this collection sold out.

Wow! I guess they can't control what people do with the items that they buy...but ya, I wouldn't say that, for respect to the other people in line! I think stores/counters should get more stock. I was at two MAC's today (Thursday day it launched) and they were sold out of 2 of the blushes, stock online is better, but still, unless you buy before the line actually launches, you are probably out of luck.

Well *touches wood* I've just had my dispatch emailf for all four blushes, and Modern Mandarin will be coming from mac (I ordered that separately yesterday and got a dispatch email today so that seems unaffected by MAC's technical hitches). My order from selfridges should be here Saturday - the postage was killer but worth it to have my goodies safe in my hands

I can kind of see how the collection would sell out so quickly

that takes some serious guts for someone to be that callous and disrespectful. Some peoples' kids!!

Team 3 here! I got Full of Joy, Peony Petal, and Lovecloud today at my counter. They are easy to apply and gorgeous! I cannot wait to wear them!

I took a pic with my other blushes. Aren't they pretty? Haha.



Top Row: Briar Rose BP, Sakura MB, and Oh So Fair BP
Bottom Row: Peony Petal, Full of Joy, and Lovecloud

They are not dupes (different finishes, etc), but some of them might be in a similar color family. I'm glad that Tres Cheek blushes are nicely pigmented. LOL

I was surprised that I didn't have anything like Peony Petal in my collection. It's a light lavender pink. It's different from any of my blue based pink blushes. I thought that was interesting.
