Exactly, I wanted it to work so bad. When I read Liba's review, I thought of combating the ashiness due to me having oily skin, cream color base everything I could to enable myself to get it
but after tonight, it is definitely a no-go. It was easy also to get the brown color staining the orange part. I decided to substitute EE for Sweet Samba which I wasn't planning on getting originally. SS is very lovely!!!! I will end up with Simmer and SS. The lighter part of Simmer makes for a good highlight as well!!!

Some cream color base as a primer prior to applying the eyeshadows plus spritzing your brush with some Fix+ usually makes a world
of difference for me with mineralized eyeshadows. CCB combined with Fix+ allow them to really pop plus control the glitter factor!!! I swear by Shell CCB

It is my most used brush esp for mineralized e/s. If funds allow, I was thinking of getting another just to cut down on cleaning because I use it so often. The 287 is my work-horse and I love it!!!! It works wonderful with the edes as well. I recently bought the suggested brush 235 for the edes and I still find myself reaching for the 287 instead.
