How different is Briar Rose beauty powder from Summer Rose beauty powder?

Briar Rose Soft violet pink with pearl (Limited Edition)
Summer Rose Soft violet pink with pearl (Limited Edition) (Repromote)

From that I assume they would be close to each other, but from HerGreyness picture in the swatches' thread, I think they look different - and I would only skip Briar Rose if it was similar to Summer Rose.

Briar Rose is a deeper violet/lavender shade

Yeah! I showed DH the promo pics for this line posted here, and he said "You have to get all of this for the packaging alone." He is a Disney fan like me.

Saw bits of this yesterday. Resort Life is GAWJUS!! The two mineralize shadows are beautiful as well.

From the swatches, BOA looks very bright--is that only because it was a heavy application, or is it very very pigmented?

You can get Sculpt & Shape powder in Accentuate/Scuplt from the pro store as a dupe for Emote - the double blush was LE, but Sculpt is still available on its own.

Gah...after looking at HerGreyness's swatches again, I'm leaning toward Oh So Fair BP instead of Briar Rose, since it seems much more natural/wearable...I don't know if I can pull off lavender blush...Maybe my 2 items should be both BPs and just skip the MES...since I have a lot more ES than I do Blush...

Mmm... Somehow, I'm having second thoughts about getting briar rose... I'm not that big a fan of lavender blushes, I think.... Hehe! Yay! Money saved!

Girls, I am desperate!!! Yesterday I went to my MAC point in Rialto and they said the Venomous Villains is not going to come here. So I can only order it on the Milan Store, without any single real view of the products. I am sooooo saaaaaaaaaaad! Why are they keeping doing this thing to me???

that is so weird! what is mac playing at just now? their distribution chains seem to be completely screwed up! you not getting VV, PinkBasset and Bis not getting Dare To Wear in their countries

they need to get this sorted! too many of our girls are missing out and it's not cool

maybe they will change their mind? because the uk wasnt meant to get the alice and olivia collection but we did last minute

Hi everyone!

I have been lurking here for quite a while but you all seem like such a great bunch that I have to join the party.

I'm trying to restrain my list for this collection but ...

Currently my list is (after cutting it over and over again):
Cruella
Sweet joy e/s
Evil Queen
Hot house l/g
Her alter image e/s
Vile violet e/s
Bite of an apple p/b

I'm still debating de-vil e/s, it looks great but usually warm toned eyeshadows are awful on me...

Anyway I just wanted to say that you, this forum and especially MAC have all been my guilty pleasure for the past few months. so thank you!

I don't think MAC is having problems with the distribution chains. I just think they don't want to sell all the collections everywhere, maybe just to keep bigger the hype... However, it's not fun at all
