Got a couple new items from this collection yesterday (gratis)
Heartless Lipstick :-LOVE! Im always a sucker for cherry red lips and this being an amplified finish makes it even more rich!
Oh So Fair Beauty Powder: Shee,r not as pearlized as the Liberty one I have, but a beautiful blush pink, very natural on my NW 20 skin
She Who Dares Mineralized Eye Shadow : Hmm, this was one I was really looking forward to...The Blue side is almost an exact match to Blue Flame from the Style Black Collection...the Green side however, GORGEOUS it has the the most amazing irridecent quality to it, can't wait to test that one out with a little Fix+. The new size....not sure what I think about it, it is the same size as a blush, hmmm verdict is still out on that one.
Im excited to see what the cooling powders can do...oh the possibilities

Not exactly sure if this works but in April KarlaSugar posted a tip to de-scenting your lipstick :
"Time and again I’ve noticed that lipstick testers are unscented, or have a much fainter scent than the product for sale. I realized this happens because testers are almost always displayed uncapped, and the smell dissipates.
Well I decided to use this observation to my advantage, and try de-scenting a lipstick of my own. It turns out it doesn’t take too long to get rid of the scent — a day, maybe two. You don’t even have to twist the lipstick up; just leave the cap off."

Do you think She Who Dares is pigmented enough when used dry? I mean, do you see the blue and green or is the black base too overpowering. I'm still worried My Dark Magic will only look gorgeous when it's used wet (and that it'll give me a bruised look but I'll have to try it on).
I'm getting more excited about Briar Rose. I love my shimmery summer blushes but I was hoping the BPs would be less shimmery with subtle sheen. Yay!

Do you think She Who Dares is pigmented enough when used dry? I mean, do you see the blue and green or is the black base too overpowering. I'm still worried My Dark Magic will only look gorgeous when it's used wet (and that it'll give me a bruised look but I'll have to try it on).

Well, I was reluctant to buy and wear the lipstick because of that. However, I find that once you apply the lipstick, you can't taste or smell it at all. A tip is to be careful how you apply it. Not too close to the inside of your mouth, know what I mean? Don't bring it in to much. Like I said, though, after a few minutes wear, it'll feel like any other other lipstick. Trust me because I cannot stand a strong scent from a lip product.

i hate to admit it, but i think i may be skipping this collection. the only thing that looks promising to me is toxic tale lipstick, which i will probably pick up at the unveiling party i was invited to. the mes look really cool but i never use the ones i currently have... my opinion of course could all change once i see the collection in real life though.

The MAC artist mentioned something like that to me, although didn't say if it was "invited" or if I had to buy an invitation (similar to beauty galas they hold at department stores) and since the collections are usually available a day or two prior to stores online I am disinclined to pay to see it early.
