My recommendations: Bite of An Apple Blush, Wicked Ways l/g, Revenge is Sweet l/g, De-vil e/s, Heartless l/s, the pigments and MES if you: are interested/don't have dupes/have the actual items already. Try the magic powders. Nail Polishes if you like.

Add it and then apply a sheer powder (msf, mineralize powder, etc) over it. I have a friend who does that to tone the blush down a bit

VV doesn't look super exciting to me but I'm past my MAC collecting years and only purchase super unique stuff. However, the Disney collaboration will be a the big selling ticket. Also, there are lotsa nice products in this collection just not terribly unique for more seasoned makeup lovers. The average customer will def find at least a couple of things to take home with them though.
All that being said, I will still get the light cooling powder (new products, will be nice to try) and Briar Rose bp (I love bp's). If they sell out before I get to them, no big deal. It really is just makeup

You said what I was thinking. The collection is 100% on trend and you can find similar colors other places, i feel. What pulled me to this collecion was BoA blush, cause I don't have anything coral & its more pigmented; but its been done. My Dark Magic pulled me in because I slept on Young Punk. Wicked Ways cause I don't have Russian Red and Revenge is Sweet because I missed out on its cousin Sweet Strawberry from HK. De-vil cause I don't have any of the perm shadows that are similar to it. Push the Edge, repromoted, i slept on that too. This collection is a chance for me to get things I missed out on. I like that. Its nothing mind blowing or really unique for me, but a chance for me to get my stash right.
So I am happy about that.
I think the HK collection was more unique than this one. But bottom line, its going to sale! Preview in 5 days!!!

The funny thing about searching Maleficent is that Angelina Jolie's picture keeps coming up. I thought it was interesting because of what some people say about her. I personally love her and was interested in the correlation. Apparently, there is buzz over a Tim Burton Sleeping Beauty remake and it is rumored she may play the bad fairy, Maleficent. The story will be in her point of view. I think that is so damn cool! I can just see her now.
