-De-Vil - I had crossed this one off my list but then I see it swatched on someone's eye in an earlier post and I'm thinking about it again. BTW Darkly my Dear blush look fabulous on this person too but I have Notable and I think they may be too similar.

This collection is a hard one I think to pin a list down on and I wont be surprised if there are things we though we would like we end up not liking and there are things we didn't even think about but we will like ..did that thought give anyone else a headache? lol guess its just the cold

Does anyone know if Heartless l/s pulls toward pink? I love reds but not if they turn pink.
I am also interested in BoA and Toxic Tale but am concerned about whether I could pull these colors off (I am N2/NW15 with black hair and green eyes). Opinions needed please!

I received Heartless as part of my gratis, I seriously LOVE this color. It does not turn pink at all. A true blue red

No, I don't think it went to the pink side (sounds like star wars)
Its hard to say how BOA will turn - on anybody - but I think it would look just fine sheered out. TT is really bright.

I went up to my counter to pre-order, only to find out that they were told, under no circumstances, were they allowed to do holds for this collection.
The only thing they're allowed to do is if I call the day the collection comes out, if there's anything left, they can hold it for the day, and that's it.
I'm definitely calling the minute they open! But I'm getting sort of worried that I won't get what I want, and especially with my gigantic list! (I don't use credit cards, so online is not an option for me.)
I'm going to fret about this now! Especially since it doesn't sound like they got alot (we never do) since the makeup artist said she probably wouldn't be able to get a thing because it'll be sold out.

I can't think of a skin tone it wouldn't be good for - at least if you don't have jaundice or scurvy or some tropical disease

It's not super bright, but it would definitely look brighter on some people depending on their skin tone - if you have medium to dark skin it's going to read brighter than on pale skin, where it's going to look more like a classic red.

Damn- that sucks. I wish MAC was consistent with these kinds of things.

I'm having a Disney overload. For someone who doesn't care for the cartoon factor at all this collection is a bit much to handle.

I know my list grew after I saw everything:
I was going to ignore the magically cool powder, but it was just what I was looking for. It IS extreme sheen, though, so not everyone is going to be into it.
I was also going to ignore French Quarter GPS, but the sparkles in it take it in a different direction than previous GPS - plus it's ok for the waterline (we checked that).
I was going to get only one beauty powder, but it really was impossible to pick between OSF and BR, since they have different effects and also since BR wasn't close to Azalea Blossom, like I'd been hoping (I got won over by it's incredibly sheer but pigmented quality and I had totally no interest in Summer Rose and had resisted that one just fine) OSF is addictively pretty too and reminds me of a pink face powder I had years ago - it'll be great used all over for light skin for a retro look. I had to get them both.
I DID resist Heartless and Dark Deed for the time being, as well as Vile Violet, which had originally been on my list. Wrong Spell also was resistable, but Wicked Ways, which I wasn't thinking about, became a buy.
I'm still spending more than expected since I passed on some cheaper items for some expensive ones, but hey you only live once! Happily, I feel like I'm pretty much set for makeup for a while. Lots of stuff in the past few collections that will be on trend well through next year.

I'll be spending WAY more than I anticipated. But, like you said, you only live once. Also, after TT, I will only be getting 1-2 items from each collection. At least until next fall.
