I fricken added Heartless (l/s) and Wicked Ways back into my list...*shakes head*...after seeing an NW50 on Youtube rocking it. Grrrrrrrr. OMG the combination is so pretty.

She also said that Darkly My Dear blush is a lighter version Raizin which I love. I didn't add it to my list, but I'm going to have a look and swatch see first.

I said I was getting all of Maleficent and I'm not...I removed Dark Deed (l/s) and Wrong Spell (l/g) from my list.

I removed French Quarter gps. I like using my black gps and I use that one a lot. I don't really need any glitter in my base so I'm skipping. Hopefully I will not regret it.

well with hello kitty they made more stock after the first lot sold out super quick. maybe they will do that with the disney collection too if it sells out super fast.

I think the product in some aspects will match the hype. Disney fans that are not traditional MAC fans will be shoppers too. There is a write up on VV in this week's People Style. I have seen alot of print for this collection. People are going to buy lip products for sure cause there isn't that much artistry in that. MAC is probably expecting that.

I think that some Disney addicts who don't wear makeup or who don't care about makeup are definitely looking into the collection because of packaging purposes. I'm a Diser and we jumped on those Disney Dooney & Burke bags quick when they were launched. There are currently a couple of collection threads over on Disboards (the biggest Disney everything community online) right now where lots of women are thinking about buying in. This is so wonderful!!!

Oh no, personally I don't like the idea of Disney fans coming in droves to the MAC counter.

If MAC makes enough stock for everyone, then fine, but if it's going to be another repeat of this summer's antics, I'll blow a fuse.

I know, I'm being selfish, but that Maleficent has been calling to me for what feels like months now!

I do hope they restock because there were things I wanted to get but couldn't at the preview. I still want to pick up Her own devices, hot house devilishly stylish and IB. However I refuse to get all upset if I cant get them.

I felt the same way--like get out of here, Disney fans! Then on the night of the preview, I saw a couple of reallyy young girls in the store and I was thinking "if they buy the last of something because it has a Disney character on it...

Ha, I was totally fine in the end though. It seems like they have a pretty good stock of this stuff this time. I hope anyway (for your guys' sake).

&Michelle, sorry to hear about your job. I'm having some money issues myself now and it suckssss so I really hope you pick up more hours soon.

Why are some of you not liking the idea of Disney lovers getting the makeup? I think that would be part of the sales tactic, drawing in new customers.
My sister hated makeup, then I dragged her to see the Hello Kitty collection, and now all she wants is lipgloss and more lipgloss ( it's a start LOL)

I think I'll only get one MES. But I'm not sure which one. I love blues and greens, AND purples. If I cannot decide, then maybe just one lipstick.

I was just being selfish/worried about myself. I know how fast some mac stuff can sell out sometimes and if you have both mac fanatics AND disney fanatics rushing in to buy stuff, I might have missed out. It's the stress of a new collection talking!

What Little Mary Jane said. I trusted MAC because they had great service and I always got the items I ordered if I got to the site in time, but after this summer's fiascoes, we don't need additional people to compete with. I know...selfish of me.

As for the other websites like Nordstroms, I hate their shipping fees and try to avoid them if possible. We only have one counter here in town that sells MAC, so if I can't get it here, I'm limited to online only.

is anyone else afraid of participating in normal human life the week prior to large mac collections like this? i mean i got stereo rose and marine life but the vigilance I had to maintain the couple days before the official launch just sort of turned into a full-time job oh its own.

i always try to clear off my workplate around this time...which can be difficult since on average I work around 60 hours a week normally...plus one of my clients could easily all of a sudden want some analysis of some sort and it could be a day + night's worth of work...

we should set up some texting ring where we all text each other the minute anything pops up lol

^^ Yep. I went by my MAC counter to buy a pigment and look for any testers for VV, and the MA said all of their Bite of an Apple blushes were already spoken for! So now I need to stalk to web site. I am going to get two so I have a back up.

That's why my avatar of Clark Griswold remains. Because every single time one of these highly anticipated launches looms in the near future, it's like I have to plan a damn trip to Wallyworld and run the race at the end, hoping to get it and not some dumb message that it's sold out.

hahahaha gents is right...my boyfriend is just as involved in this process as i am...when stereo rose came out i was in the shower and he pounded on the door and yelled "i see your stereo thing! i see your stereo thing!"

My guy is well aware of my cosmetic addiction and is doing his best to adjust (7 years later haha). He thought VV came out yesterday. I'm still in shock that he paid attention and heard me even say Thursday. He was surprised to see me last night when I got home from work on time. "You didn't buy anything, babe? Awww, was your MAC monster stuff sold out? I can go online for you..." What can I say, he's trying.
