Toxic Tale
Bite of an Apple
Briar Rose
Bad Fairy
Strange Potion
Melon (which has been sold out for days)

I wonder if sell outs online are going to mirror what sells out in stores. different clients. some hardcore MAC some not. Some hardcore disney, but not hard core makeup. some both. i am going to check my counter time to time to see how it goes down.

I hauled from the Dallas pro store on Friday morning, and let me tell you -- not trying it on your lips was an excellent idea! Most of the VV glosses still had the doe foot on them when I was swatching, and you know that means there will be people who think that means they can try it from the tube to their lips!

I was debating Revenge Is Sweet and swatched it twice, and I remember it still had the doefoot. I'm not as big of a germaphobe as many, but that squicked me the hell out!

When I bought a new compact of the cream mineralize foundation a few months ago, my MA told me that MAC was running low on the packaging, so stock would be low/run out of the mineralize foundations. I very happy with what I hauled (Dark Deed, Violetta, Wrong Spell, Briar Rose, both MES and French Quarter). While I have an appointment for the VV event at my usual freestanding store, I don't actually think I want anything else from this collection.

It sounds weird, but I don't really want the cooling powder if it's not permanent. I don't want to get too attached to it only to know that I can't get more of it.

The items I was debating were Bite of an Apple, Toxic Tale and Strange Potion. But I have Marine Life already, and as someone who owns less than 10 blushes, I just don't think BoaA is really needed. I think I need to expand my blush collection with major differences, if that makes sense.

And Toxic Tale and Strange Potion both swatched horribly on me. I'm NC25, but I think my strong golden undertones (sounds so much prettier than saying "strong yellow undertones") are just not going to work with them. They looked too orange next to my skin and made my skin look really, really yellow.

It's so weird to feel done with a collection so soon!

Oh! Edited to say: I need to swatch Hot House again. I forgot my tube of Hush Hush Rose on Friday to compare. I may come home with that after my makeover on Friday (plus a few perm stuff I need to restock on).

- LOL I just read that Melon was sold out before the collection. Too many posts in more than one thread. I can't believe I've been on Specktra since I came back from work! Now I barely have time to change to go to the gym!! Seriously I have to choose between a life or MAC limited edition collections! Crazy and stressful but way fun <3

Dammit!!
I've never had to call customer svc about an order before today.
I place 2 orders last night.
And somehow I added 2 of the Cruella beauty powders instead of one.
Dammit.
I called just now and they said that since it's already been processed they can't change it. I didn't want to push it with the lady, since it was my mistake for not catching it before I hit "submit". I was in a screaming hurry of course, trying to get my orders in. (and omg, I ordered MORE that I had planned. almost $300. I've lost my mind)
I was hoping to at least replace it with the one bp I didn't order.
Ugh!
I tried calling last night, couldn't get through. I can't even seem to get to the part of the website to view my orders.

Trying to let the frustration go here, and let the excitement back in. Just had to vent though.

Wow!!! That was nerve wracking!!!!! I left work at 6:30 when I heard it would not come out till midnight. Then I got home and hubby was still on the phone with tech support for our computer but was giving me the thumbs up! I was so happy. That meant I could use our computer and not have to go back to the office at midnight - which, by the way, I was dreading.

I literally sat down and logged into Specktra when my Mom called me and said VV was up. Man did I luck out with our computer. My husband hung up the phone with support about 15 min. before VV was up. It was a MIRACLE! A gift from heaven!

$200. later my order was placed and I made some sleepy time tea. I wanted wine but I was too wiped out

Then I went to bed and slept like a rock. I am so glad my ordering is done. Good luck to you all.

and that is all I think I'll be getting from this collection.

My thought is YUM! But you are talking to a girl who owns a whole wardrobe of brown with occasional color. I rock browns like the goth girlies rock the blacks. I was probably the only person who ordered To Pamper because it looked like cool, taupey brown goodness. So yeah, I am eyeballing the Sinister. I have plenty of reds, pinks, corals and berry lippies. So I have been on a kick for the brown lippies lately. (and, of course, purple!)

On an unrelated note, I am sad to see BOaA sold out. I may have to go to Macy's near the crib & see if they have any left. The suburbanites down in Littleton probably aren't snapping up the bright blushies as fast as the on line peeps I hope

i do like brown. was thinking of trying it on as a neutral. I am thinking about getting Polished Up (perm) as a good nude/neutral for me. Maybe Sinister first and Polished up later. I love the sinister face chart using sketch and vainglorious. love it. i hope you get a BoA! Call Macy's that morning as soon as they open and see if they can hold it for you.

I was actually worried about you and thinking about you! Hoping that you'd get your VV stuff! I had hoped you didn't miss out and left work after hearing it wouldn't be up after all
