I wear it a lot, so I'd say yes. Not sure if Violetta looks better though actually. With the teal-blue-purple-rose hair I have things that lean to the bluer side tend to resonate with my hair better.

Your hair gorgeous! Mine used to be a fuchsia-violet gradient and I loved it. I don't think I could pull off the blues so well. I am very excited to try Violetta!

My thoughts exactly! I was worried it would launch early September- I would have been screwed.

But, now that Rodarte's launch date is mid-Sept, I am worried all over again.

I love that movie too. Every Christmas I watch it at least 5 times.

It isn't so much that I didn't like it, it's not bad. I was just expecting more I guess. It was not cooling like the Prescriptives. It was also a little off in the pearly color. Where the Prescriptives gave me a more glowy look, the Hydrating Mineral Veil looked like I had stuff just sitting on my face. Wrong color stuff. (not that that makes any sense!)
I normally like a MSF or radiance product, so I am not averse to glow-y products. It may have just been my skin tone.

But more than color, it did not compare in the whole "cool to the touch" that the Prescriptives had. That felt like water.

tbh, I've wondered if mine was from a bad batch..

I was goth (meaning the style, I still dig the music) for very long time and I didn't wear much blush then either. If I did, it was subtle not to clash with the eyes and lips. Nowadays I'm so into blushes, I love them!

I was (and still am somewhat) goth-y in my preferences, particularly at night. I avoided any kind of blush for many years, but then discovered that a nice contour actually adds quite a bit of drama- something like Strada that's not too brown/ tan looking.

Other blushes have grown on me, but I generally go pretty light on them.

I got my mail the other day and in it was a black MAC mailer. I got so ridiculously excited. It was the same size as the one and ONLY card I've gotten for a party in the past. It wasn't computing about the timing for a party, I was under the excitement spell of the party invite, and the ensuing excitement (note to self: MUST GET OUT MORE). It was a mailer for their mascaras.... .. their mascaras. I felt like Ralphie in A Christmas Story: "Drink more ovaltine??? A lousy commercial! Son of a bitch!" oh well.

I haven't laughed that hard in awhile!!

I don't wear Violetta often, but it's such a fun color and just sheer enough to be surprisingly wearable.

I can't wait to get Violetta! I think it is a color I will probably use a lot. Luckily, it is a pro item so I can get it whenever.
