just takes some time. then it's just the same as depotting regular shadows with a flame.

i didn't B2M those because i was too embarassed haha! bringing these mangled bits of plastic back.. ehh, no.

i was going to get innocence, beware! but it sounds like 58493064 other pink cremesheens that i have, so i'll be passing on it. i'm FINALLY starting to control my lists!

I tried those before, but somehow, I still manage to mangle it. So much for being an evil genius.

Most of the lip products sound promising.

to my knowledge, none.. at least in cremesheens. There are yellow mattes and lustre.. but no creme.. I think this is going to be a unique one too

I was thinking Innocence, Beware might me close to Way To Love from Rose Romance color-wise. What do you guys think? Of course, I might be totally wrong.

Innocence, Beware! - light yellow pink (Cremesheen)
Way To Love - Creamy light yellow pink (Lustre)

Way to love is a lustre -- no comparision in texture

Villains and princesses must be a huge theme this season, as there is alot of talk of the two dynamics in this issue.

I read an article in a trade mag a while ago.. and it referred to this topic. When life is hard for most of us i.e. Recession, wars, unemployment -- we seek comfort in the idea that there are Villains (who can be conquered or just enjoyed), Princesses (for the wonder) and just good old animation for the laughs and comic relief... I know this to be true at least for me personally

Innocence, Beware! - light yellow pink (Cremesheen)
Way To Love - Creamy light yellow pink (Lustre)

I was thinking that too.
I love my WTL lipstick and would kill for another one in a cremesheen formula!

Re: MAC - Venomous Villains discussion

Speaking of different lipstick finishes, how do you guys compare cremesheen and lustre? Which one has better color payoff? Which one is longer lasting? Which one feels more moisturizing? What is the biggest difference between them? etc. Any opinions please?

lustre-
sheer-medium coverage, high shine, more moisturizing, low-medium wear

cremesheen-
medium coverage, medium shine, semi-moisturizeing, medium wear

I feel ya! I have Utterly Frivolous, too.

I hope Innocence, Beware! will be unique. I want to see something indescribable!

I feel very slow because I could not find Plink! on the MAC website. Has it been discontinued?

cremesheens are much better than lustres in my opinion. they feel better on the lips - still moisturizing but not slippy like the lustre can feel like.
smiles.gif
and more opaque of course

I actually hadn't tried a cremesheen until a few weeks ago when I got Lavender Whip and then Go For It, and I am absolutely loving the formula! I love lustres, but cremesheens are becoming a favorite.

am i the odd one out that prefers a lustre? i find cremesheens make my lips look dry
ssad.gif

i have to coat my lips in balm, leave it 10 mins or so, then put on lippie with my cremesheens, but with the lustres i'm good to go straight away

I do like the feel of lustres, but I won't buy them anymore because of the lanolin in them (I hate that cruel wool business!

Cremesheen has a much better color payoff -- lustre's are pretty but sometimes need to be swiped over and over again to get more color and they don't last too long
yes.gif

of course, lustres feel more moisturizing
