I'm going to see a specialist tomorrow, I'll see what he has to say! I'm staying positive and strong though.

Physically I haven't been feeling as well as I used to these days (although I'm not ill), I just want to get to the bottom of things and get treated if necessary.

@ Katie: I just realized that your nanas are dancing ten times faster than before.

Those bananas can really move!
lol.gif

Keep us posted Winnie on what the specialist says. I am hoping that it is nothing and sending positive vibes your way!

Thanks Katie! I will keep you all posted.

I don't know if it's just me, but the nanas just went back to grooving at their regular speed.

Maybe my fucked up computer made them dance faster just now.

I think the MSFs, the lipglasses and the shadesticks.

Or maybe one of each

Susanne, I haven't been on in a while because I have been so busy with work and first thing I see is your new hair! I LOVE IT. You look fabulous! How are you liking being a brunette?

Thank you! It is day five now as a brunette and I really, really like it! It was a bit strange the first two days looking in the mirror, but this is perfect for fall/winter and I can wear different makeup now. More red lips and neutral eyes

I hope to get christmas money and gift cards for this collection and Love Lace. Then I could save for Disney

Ok I'm back from the specialist visit! Took a chest x-ray today. I'm scheduled for an endoscopy and colonoscopy on Friday, as well a simple day surgery to remove my hemorrhoids. I hope it won't be anything too uncomfortable, I've never been sedated/put to sleep before.
ssad.gif

Still maintaining positive thoughts though! I hope it's anything but cancer.

being put to sleep goes like this:
they lie you down in a nice warm bed and there will be a lot of people around you (nurses poking at you etc) but you get knocked out pretty fast as if nothing happened. they make you ttake deep slow breathes while counting. in less than a minute you pass out. i've been told that young people tend to feel nautious after waking up. so dont feel too worried about that, its a normal side affect. but its certainly better for you mentally to be asleep. i was awake for a procedure where the shove this camera/sensor up an artery from the leg and i was tearing the whole time (called an angiogram) and it was VERY scary.

hope you will be okay winnie, your procedures are fairly safe, so nothing to be afraid of. feel free to pm me if you ever want to talk.

Wow you are so brave for enduring that!
shockt.gif

Alright being put to sleep doesn't sound too bad, except the part where you mentioned there will be nurses poking me.
cry.gif
But sedation and G.A. are 2 separate things right? Coz my doc said that I will be only sedated for the scopes, but I will be put to sleep for the hemorrhoids removal.

hey winnie.

with sedation, they generally give you versed (sp), which makes you sleepy, but erases your memory of the entire event. its actually quite nice, and recommend it!
lol.gif

sedation is less risky than GA. with sedation, you don't need to have a breathing tube. your vitals are still monitored, so don't worry about that.

i've had both of your upcoming procedures done, and everything went fine for me, and i'm sure you'll do just a great. let me know if you have a questions about either procedure.

Great to hear all this, thanks for the support ladies!

I keep thinking that I will have an allergic reaction to the G.A. and some complications will happen during the procedure.
th_rolleye0014.gif
But that's just me, I'm a worrywart.

I hope the IV needle won't hurt too badly! It's the needle that goes in at the back of your hand right? I've had people telling me that the needle hurts like fuck.
