My lips have almost no pigmentation ......

Do you have pigmented lips and have you tried it with a lipstain or lipliner under it?

I have a lot of pigmentation, pinky berry color, on my lips. I just don't know what else to try to make this color work. Anyone have any suggestions on specific combos w/ either lip glosses or liners? I don't want such a beautifull looking product to go to waste

I did my usual weekend shopping and managed to swatch Forbidden and Dim the Lights.

Both two coats.
Left: Forbidden. Right: Dim the Lights

I don't have the best lighting so the pics aren't fantastic. They are very similar. If you can see, Forbidden has red undertones and thus it is warmer than Dim the Lights. I think you can pass Dim the Lights if you have Forbidden. Personally I like Forbidden more but it is pricey. I don't own either of them.

I got Cuddle and Relaxed shadesticks from W&C, and I have to say they are the best shadesticks I own! Not to enable anyone, but if you are on the fence about them and do use s/s, these are definitely worth checking out. They are soft and creamy, a lot less tugging on the eyelids compared to the older ones. I wish MAC would just reformulate all shadesticks to make them as good as the W&C ones and bring them back to perm collection!

the care blend essential oil! I have combination skin in fall and oily skin in summer.
Now in winter it is just dry. But still has breakouts

This oil is AMAZING. I mixed it with my foundation - my skin looks healthy and rich again.

I will test the oil a few more days!

I'm happy you like eveything you purchased. I suprisingly got a lot of lip products.
l/s warm me up, l/g 2N, l/g light that fire and e/s mulled cider

. I was so dissappointed when I saw how frosty the shadesticks and msfs were

and the lip conditioners didn't show up on my really pigmented lips but I might go back for e/s modelette and try out the l/s spiced tea

I used Nurture s/s for the first time today, and boy am I impressed!

It went on so much smoother and more evenly than Butternutty s/s, which was the only s/s I had previously owned. I'm now thinking if I should go back for more s/s.

OMG!!! Thanks so much, hun!!! I do have Forbidden and that's the reason I decided to skip Dim the lights after so much thoughts about it. But I'm a total compulsive freak and some how started having second thoughts.

Now I can make pace with it and focus on Les Impressions, Spring Color Forecast and Give me Liberty of London. Thanks so much again!

a couple of the shadesticks have sold out on the uk site now (cuddle and w&c i think!) and also some lip stuff has gone too. surprised though because nothing from love lace has sold out - i thought that would be more popular but i guess not!

Something in me really wants W&C shadestick despite the fact that A-it reminds me of Antiqued and Coppering and B-I have Relaxed shadestick which I have yet to use. It would be easier if Mac.com had it, but of course they don't. I might pick it up from Macys when I go to NY this week.

I just have a compulsive need to collect. Like I said before, this is what happens when I'm in between collections. When a collection comes out, I want to hold back and then as it lingers, I want to slowly get everything even if I initially thought it was passable. Shame, I know.

Here's my quick mini-review of Mineralize All-Over Lotion after using it for the past two weeks:

MAC Mineralize All-Over Lotion is a smooth moisturizer for all skintypes meant for either the face and/or body. First thing I noticed is I LOVE the smell. It's said to not contain fragrances, but whatever ingredients are giving it this smell is awesome, I love it. I also noticed that the consistency feels a tad heavier (but still light if that makes sense) than most lotions.
When you first put it on your face it feels so energizing and nice, its so smooth and silky and really makes your face feel nice. I've been using it for a few weeks and I have not noticed any breakouts, my skin has actually been improving since breaking out using the MAC Care Blends Oil.

Once it sinks in for a minute or two, my face feels amazing. Sooo smooth and soft, and this allows fluid foundation to blend perfectly on my face. Since I have oily skin I was afraid that the creamy consistency may make me feel more oily, but I don't notice myself getting any more or less oily. This is good because I can easily control that with powder.

I gotta say though, I don't know any reasons, at face value, why it's specified as 'Mineralize' lotion. I haven't been told of any special extra minerals included in the formula. It seems sorta gimmicky to me like 'hey you wear mineralize satinfinish try mineralize lotion' and what-not.
Overall I'm pretty happy with this moisturizer. That said, it's basically what you see is what you get. I don't think it's going to help with fine lines or wrinkles, antiaging, extreme dryness, extreme oiliness, etc. It's a great basic lotion for everyone with nothing especially special extra benefits other than moisture!

I would suggest using a lipliner that is a shade or so darker than your lips, or topping the lipstick with a coordinating lipgloss (or one slightly darker) to amp up the pigmentation...or doing both.

I absolutely love Feelin' Good TLC, so I got another. I love that it is a balm, and it is just a little lighter than my lips, so it gives them that perfect nude, natural look.
