Just like sleepyhead said - goopy and streaky! They are so thick and pain in the a** to work with. It's hard to get them to look nice and I just don't have the patience to deal with it. There are so many better options for nailpolishes, it's just that Mac has released few nice colours recently, but I hope I can find dupes from other brands. When I first tried Mac nailpolish I said that this might actually be the worst nailpolish ever! Haven't changed my mind yet (and I hope I will never meet even worse formula)...

Today is my Warm & Cozy day!
greengrin.gif

On eyes: Cuddle s/s, Chamomile e/s, Modelette e/s, Mulled Cidar e/s
On cheeks: Comfort & By Candlelight MSFs
On lips: Warm Me Up l/s

PS - I think the texture of Cuddle s/s isn't as good as Nurture Me, in fact, it's kinda patchy.

It is a very pretty yet neutral look! Too bad I didn't take pictures because I was in a rush and didn't have a camera with me.

i folded and finally bought By Candlelight

i just had to after all the hype. it was sold out almost everywhere and when i saw it, ch-ching!

anyways, still figuring out the best ways to use it and i'm liking it. seems to accentuate my fine lines (ugh!). but if anyone has tips on ways to use this, i'd be ever-so-grateful as it's only my 2nd MSF next to So Ceylon.

OT, while i was @ my MAC counter @ Macy's lo and behold, look who was standing across from me? Ms. Heather Locklear! i was so nervous to pretend not to notice her. the MA just came up to her and asked. she looks great in person and seems nice! i even checked out next to her but didn't get the nerves to see what she bought. it looked like one was a lip gloss pot. so glad i snuck out from work to buy it and then run into a celebrity! hehe.

Am I the only one who did not care for Warm Me Up lipstick? I ordered it, tried it once and ended up returning it. It was just "blah" on me.

It seemed like it was so popular, and the swatches were pretty, but it looked like poop on me, for lack of a better word.

Warm me up looked horrible on me. I sold it right away. The description sounded so pretty but it never looked good on me. Too orange.

^Warm Me Up looked too orange on you? I'm still thinking about getting it off of Nordies' website. If Warm Me Up ends up being sold out on Nordies' website, then I'll consider getting Spiced Tea l/s instead.

It was too orange on me. I was thinking it would be more of a pink with a touch of brown. It just didn't look good on my skintone at all.

It might look gorgeous on you though!

Has anyone found a good use for the Sweet Orange + Lavender Care Blends Oil? I'm disappointed-I chatted with an MA about the difference between the two oils and she recommended the Lavender for clearing up breakouts and the Grapefruit as a "preventative" measure to keep clear skin healthy...well now that I have both I find the Grapefruit one is clearing up my breakouts and the Lavender is doing absolutely nothing!

Has anyone had any luck with the Lavender?

I'd say I'd try it on clients to see if it works for other people but ever since I heard about these oils breaking some people out I wouldn't take that risk!

Warm and Cozy shadestick looked like a hot, coppery, glittery mess on my lids. I applied it over my UDPP. It's the 1st time I've tried the original UDPP so maybe I should use my much loved Too Faced primer. Eh, I'm turned off now. It looked choppy on my lids even after blending my lids to death. Oh, well.

I can usually make something work, but this.... I have no words for it. It's my 1st MAC return in over 3 yrs.

I really enjoy my Sweet Orange and Lavender oil. I just use it for mixing into Studio Sculpt foundation though. I have normal to oily skin prone to breakouts sometimes but it's been going great for me so far.
