Much as i love MAC, it makes sense, since CG is less expensive and more generally available to teens and the younger crowd who are perceived to be the base audience.

sephora had these amazing paper eyelashes last year, but i think they weren't big sellers - i never saw a movie tie-in.

Wow! I could definitely go for a collection with these shades. I'm loving the lipstick in the last picture. Kind of a blueishgrey shade. Oh the dreams of MAC doing something like this.

This is true. The movie definitely touched on the extreme measures that citizens of the Capitol took to alter their appearances, but in the books, many people in the Capitol did things like dye their skin or add animal features to themselves such as tiger stripes or whiskers. Wacky outfits, makeup, and wigs included, of course.

I would love to see a Queen inspired collection. I think had he still been alive, Freddie Mercury and his one of a kind decadence and showmanship would have been excellent for Viva Glam. Can you tell I'm like obsessed with Freddie?

I love Queen and Eddie too but Queen Antoinette is the one I think would inspire a lavish collection. More Kissable Lip Colors, more Tendertones, more lip and cheek pots (I would especially love a lavender, lighter than Evening Stroll) and I'd also love repromotes of Innocence Beware, Dish It Up, Secret Lover, Boyfriend Stealer, Fresh Amour, Pink Cult, Restores Dazzle, Quite Cute, Cinestyle, more EDES but in more colors like bright ones, jewel tones, etc, more Extra Dimension Blushes...mint and lavender everything, paint pots, eyeliner, eyeshadow, I don't care, more different colored Pearlglides, repromote everything from the Lure collection, including the packaging, periwinkle eyeliner, and that damn silvered blue with purple pearlized pigments lipliner that we all thought we were getting...about all I can think of at the moment.

There should be a collection where all the colors you'd usually think would be for lips are for eyes and vice versa, but they manage to make it wearable.

That's a really hard question to answer for me! The thought kinda makes my stomach turn over because the Kardashians get under my skin, but at the same time I'm a total MAC whore so if the colors were great I'd probably find it hard not to buy.I'd be scowling and smiling while I bought. Lol
