Work it Shontay! You are making me so glad I hauled AP. I haven't worn it yet, but now I'm inspired to pull it out tomorrow.
I finally got MA to work for me. I don't believe anything will pull coral on me. I must have wonky undertones. Anyway it looked great but not coral. My husband told me he liked the "bronze" blush I had on. When I looked in the mirror it did look like a light gold kind of broze but certainly not coral. I was bummed until I realized a) I didn't have a blush that color and b) it was fabulous on me. It will be a great neutral. It's different that my other neutral (NARS Gina) so I decided to keep it.
I want the tote, but I don't know if I want to spend the money. I probably wouldn't actually use it - I just want it because it has WW on it. I'll have to see what the official price is before I decide. Of course having said that, the second I see it on the site I'll freak out and order it. I know I will.
ETA: The tote is only for trainers? I'm so sad. It's good I may not be able to buy it, but I really wanted to make that choice on my own!
Shontay, you look pretty! Love the lip color! Wish that collection was sold in stores so I could have tried that lipstick. Didn't want to risk it. But I see it looks great.
Honybr, Don't forget to try the light part of MA with Bite of an Apple too. I was thinking of using those two together, cause I can see myself hitting the pan fast on the dark side of MA. I also think the light side of MA will work with NARS Gilda. I also think the light side of MA will look great over the Fabulush CCB. And you can add your coral type blushes over that.
So I had a chance to see more of the collection and Secret Identity is my favorite lip product thus far! Its a great neutral and is going to be my go too for the spring and summer. I have been looking for something like this for a while and it kind of reminds me of NARS Luster gloss, but maybe more brown. This lipglass formula is not sticky at all, not overly shimmery and I love that!
AP: I am passing. I could pull it off, but personally, its just not the type of pink blush I could love. I like my pink blushes more on the deeper side. I am sure MAC will put something on the deep pink side later this year, knowing them.
Spitfire. VERY PRETTY and unique. I haven't seen this version of pink-purple come out from MAC yet. Its more purple and I think it would look good on the cheeks too. It looks good under Secret Identity also. I'll haul those later this week and I am done.
I heard counters received like 2 of the MSFs. and they are having events. I can feel a frenzy coming on. To me it looks like this: MAC sends 3, 1 for testing and 2 for selling. Those are of course are going to sell right away, making it easy for the MAs to offer similar "suggestions" and sell from the perm line. MAs push older product to sell with new lipsticks and shadows. Its a win for them.
I finally got my order today! I love the packaging and the colors are great. Going to be experimenting and playing round with it really soon.
I'm over the limit on my thumbs up today. :lol:
