I like that AP is very pigmented on both sides and it is like nothing I have im my collection. I do have to be careful and use a light hand when applying. I do not have Band of Roses but have heard they are similar. I really am considering MA but I also want the blushes from Quite Cute lol!

I find the same thing- I have to use a light hand, but the colour does come out just beautifully. I'd considered getting BoR (it's still available on the Canadian web site), but for a few dollars more, I think this was the better investment. Not only do you get more product, but AP is low on shimmer, which I think would be too much with a colour this intense.
If you're interested in MA, I absolutely think it's worth the investment. Both blushes in this collection are high points. It's also quite intense, but absolutely gorgeous and with no real dupes.

At least in the mag - high on her cheekbones it looks like the lighter side of MA blush! You can kind of see it on the right side here.

Band Of Rose is more Violet Rose - AP is a lighter less violet but similar color tone.

[/quote] Thanks, Camnagem. I went to Sephora today and one of the employees said "nice brows". It feels like a weird thing to be complimented on, but I'll take it. They look way better today. I went for a thicker, more dramatic look since I didn't put on any other make up. ETA: this is my first time coming here today, I give one thumbs up and already I have too many? Yeah, ok. Well, thanks to everyone who complimented me. I didn't ignore your comment, I just can't give you a thumbs up.

My first reaction to Band of Roses is "ohhhh, pretty!!"
But on my face I don't love it.
I think it might be that BOR is too blue? IDK. I'm not good at knowing what is good with my coloring.

^^^ LOL - It could be the Violet tones in BOR. AP is just straight up gorgeous & flattering to the skin. The darker side of AP is very deceiving in the pan as it really does not look like that on. Its a beautiful soft kind of toned down reddish/plum/ berry - but soft & pretty
