I have to see if I can rustle up a comic strip or something fun and collectable from the collection, because I love the artwork on the boxes. love love love it! i am hoping there is a preview somewhere around here. MAs told me to call back and check cause they may have an event sooner than the 11th. I'll be on that case tomorrow!

Now about what I am seeing now.. before Temptalia.

Blush Duos are like Blush 2/3s. I mean the colors aren't 1/2 like I thought. That could be a good thing because the dark 1/3 part of Mighty Aphrodity looks a heck of alot like Bite of an Apple... I would rather have 1/3 of a color like that than 1/2. KWIM? I can't decide if I want Mighty Aphrodite or Amazon Princess... I am into Coral Blushes right now, but I have BoA, NARS Gina and NARS Gilda I wonder if getting Mighty Aphrodite will be overload? I don't have anything pink like Amazon Princess so I can be easily swayed that way... damn decisions. I surely want the compact. I am going to change it out all the time.

Secret Identity looks like a very pretty color so far. I wish it was a flat color with no glitter in it though. The glitter factor will be the deal breaker for me. I find that color to be the most unique of the glosses. It looks like a lighter version of the Pret-A-Papier gloss from last year.

Lastly, I may haul the Golden Lariat MSF. Its kinda pretty and the size of it is a riot! We'll see how it looks on. I hope its not great, cause I am trying to stay on a budget...

can't wait for Temptalia's swatches... Soon I hope, she's on west coast time, so its still early there!

I'm glad I got through Temptalia's first video and I don't want a damn thing! Maybe if I was new to the game, but nothing knocks me out, still and I hate that Deep Truth is in the Lady Justice quad.

you are right--I would look like a dang oompa loompa with that. maybe Pink Power will be more suitable???

Golden Lariat is gorgeous. I really wish I could wear it . I think if you ladies use a lighter hand or more of the lightest color, you can make it work.

Yeah is waay too orange! Pink power looks much more wearable to me...

[/quote] You got a point there. I have a habit of not considering prices. Plus, this is definitely a color I would go for, so I'm biased.

Temptalia's vid on the eye products basically convinced me of two things:

1. I definitely want the Valiant and Defiance quads.
2. I hate how much the grey colour in the Lady Justice quad appeals to me. I sort of knew that was going to happen, but I really have no use for any of the other colours...

I just noticed Temptalia is wearing the Valiant quad for her blush swatches. It's all gorgeous together. I have photorealism though so I will try to tell myself I don't need it. Any thoughts on that?

1. I definitely want the Valiant and Defiance quads.

GL does look overly orange. I am trying to figure out if if the flash is on the camera. or what type of light is in the photograph.

Katred: I so agree with you. That grey shadow is just gorgeous. But I am not sol on any of the other colors. Especially that Lady Justice color. How useless is that?

Ok Temptalia's video just made me change my mind AGAIN!

I want the Valiant e/s Quad. Aren't the collection quads usually $36? This one is $40...

I am also thinking of getting one or two mascaras. But every MAC Mascara I have tried I hate. They are all too clumpy on me. What do you ladies think of the Opulash? I wanted to try it when it came out but didn't because of my history with MAC Mascaras. I would hate to buy one or two and hate them too.

That is all I want from the eye part of the collection though. Just one quad and one or two mascaras. I'm thinking the green and the purple mascara. I just got 2 blue ones form UD. But the ones from UD seem a little dry. It takes me forever to get the Electric Blue mascara on my lashes. Anyone else have problems with UD's Big Fatty Colored Mascara?

[/quote] Exactly! I am dying for that kind of color! I'm not paying $40 for one shadow, though. Do you have Photorealism, Katred? I'm thinking it might be close enough to Valiant but maybe I am telling myself that to keep from buying it.

i like how temptalia takes the time to do all the swatches and it all looks good on her, but I always have to make myself realize that i am way darker than her and that i cant fall in love with a product because it looks gorgeous on her. lol

[/quote] I know what you mean. That's my problem mostly with face products and sometimes lip products. However, i think the quality of her photos is so good that you have the best shot possible of knowing if it'll work or not.

Yikes, even Pink Power looks a bit too orange for me if I'm just judging by Temptalia's swatch of the matte bronze part of it. Too bad too, because the highlighter parts of it are gorgeous.

And the compact is that whacking huge and doesn't include a mirror? What the heck?
