Hmmmm. Swatches have revealed things I didnt expect! I am really loving the look of Mighty Aphrodite. I didnt really know too much bout ripe peach, but I've seen pics and it just seems too orange. So I'm not sure about MA. But I've heard such good things about RP. Also I usually wear pinky blushes, so MA would be different for me. Any pale, brown eyed, dark haired beauties love Ripe Peach?

Thought I wanted Pink Power but like everyone else that bronzer throws me off, and its too much product/high price to get something I dont fully love.

Thought I wanted Lady Justice but nixed that. The green one is calling me! lol

The bag is ok, if the stars were on the outside maybe...but its not

And I didnt think i'd want a gloss but I like the pink/purple and nudey one

Marquise D' is still a must have, so pretty. Still iffy bout a mascara. That will be a last min thing

Why ohhhhhh why do the blushes have mirrors but not the MSF? I dont get MAC sometimes lol

Ok...Mighty Aphrodite has now been moved to the DEFINITES list!!! I CANNOT ever pass up blush shades in this color...I don't care how many dupes I have...this one is coming home with mama!!!

Also...that looks NOTHING like Ripe Peach. I have Ripe Peach and actually don't really care for it on my NC45 skin...but I refuse to get rid of it for "collection purposes." (SAD BUT TRUE)

Would anyone believe me if I said I'm not buying anything? :lol: I'm not quite sure I've sold myself on it, but now that I think about it there's nothing that I need. I was a little psyched about MA being close to Ripe Peach, but I really don't need it. Nars Gina, Mac's Marine Life, Instant Chic and Fleur Power are holding me down right now. Plus, I've got my eye on this killer Stila blush that is quite similar. I have more than enough reds and I don't like mattes, so I will throw away Russian Red. I really wanted a lipstick with that packaging, though. It's going to be hard, but I really need to forget this collection. I bought almost all of Peacocky and a lot of MC and I feel like I'm thinking way to hard to try and justify buying something here. What's the next collection after this? :lol:

Oh wow Christines lip swatches are awesome, I'm loving all the colors. Heroine is badass on Christine! It's def different, very metallic. But wouldnt look good on me. Russian red is a gorg red. Spitfire is pretty! But I have style curve, and MAC has put out plenty of dark pinks, but something about it is different I cant put my finger on it. Hmmm not decided on Spitfire. And I cant get over how freaking beautiful Marquise D' is!

Why am I still up? Damn insomnia!

OOOOOOOOooooooooooo crap. I want Athena's Kiss l/g now! It's almost like a gloss version of Style Curve. I think it will look amazing on pink and purple lipsticks! It's pretty opaque too. Damn the huge applicator for my tiny lips though...that might be the factor of me not getting it.

I have a feeling Temptalia is going to be doing dupe/comparison swatch posts soon, like she did with a few of the past collections, so maybe I'll wait till after that to really decide.

I'm with you! I watched both vids, went through the swatches and nothing is a must-have for me. I'm going back to Peacocky thread

I kinda like Athena's Kiss but it's nothing special and if you watched Temptalia's 2nd vid you can see how you need superpowers to pull out the wand and it was quite messy too, not excited about that at all.

I'm LOLing at the effort it takes to get the lipglass applicators out (and the mess they make). That seems like such a QA/testing "oops"...how did they miss that?!?

I usually wear pink blushes, being very pale skinned with dark hair and dark brown eyes. Amazon Princess looks way too dark/bright for me, though, and I cba with spending ages trying to sheer it out enough. Mighty Aphrodite, on the other hand, looks a definite possible.

I'm with the rest of you on Pink Power - love the two outer colours, but not really keen on the brown stripe through the middle. I don't think I'd use that bit. Golden Lariat would be way too orange altogether.

With the eyeshadows, I thought I was going to love the pink (Defiant?) one but feel a bit let down by it after seeing swatches. I have Deep Truth, so the blue quad isn't worth buying, and after reading on here that Photorealism would be pretty close to the green quad I managed to get one on ebay at way below the cost of the WW quad. Can't wait for it to arrive.

I must get a lipstick, definitely! I already have Russian Red, and Heroine wouldn't suit me (although it looks fabulous on Temptalia). I'm going to go for Marquise d' and possibly Spitfire if it's different enough from Style Curve - I'm sure Temptalia will be swatching those two together.

I'm also thinking I might get Wonder Woman and Athena's Kiss glosses if I can afford it. The Penultimate is a definite no due to the size of it lol.

I was and am still excited for the collection. As of now I plan on getting Golden Lariat, Russian Red, Marquise D' (PRAYING it isn't too sheer for my lips), Spitfire (sucker for pink lips smh) and Athena's kiss (LOVE this). I really LOVE Heroine on Temptalia but I'm not sure if it'll work on my skin. Mighty Aphrodite looks great too, but I doubt it'll show up on my skin :-/

I trust you! Temptalia' swatches had convinced me that this collection has nothing so special and unique I'm going to spoil myself with peacocky collection then!!

Wow, having watched both Temptalia's videos and read her reviews with swatches... I don't know if I'm going to get anything. The quads all look pretty, but I'm a little hesitant to commit because of her comments on the quality/ usability of the shades. My lids move a lot suring application, which means that colours with weak payoff are hell on wheels for me to apply.

I think Singer82 noted this already, but Heroine looks absolutely gorgeous on Christine, enough to almost be tempting, until I realise that the colour would look really terrible on me. None of the other lipsticks do anything for me. I like Athena's Kiss and Wonder Woman lipglasses, but the application sounds like a nightmare and for a few bucks more, I'll indulge and get a Chanel or YSL gloss.

I am thinking maybe for Mighty Aphrodite Blush Duo, and yes to Golden Lariat MSF and Valiant Eyeshadow Quad.

Probably no for Amazon Princess Blush Duo (it looks too cool-toned for me) Pink Power MSF, and the other two eye shadow quads. So three things in total = not bad at all.

After seeing Christine's swatches on Temptalia, I've got a better idea of what I want and don't want.

Only lipstick I want is Marquise 'd. Russian Red is supposed to be blue-red but looks too orange and ugly on me. I've got Magenta Madness and I'm not into bronze lip colors so the other two lipsticks are out as well.

Emancipation lipglass looks pretty and seems to be a great value. I don't have a color like this and it would fit nicely in my 'emergency makeup stash'. Wonder Woman looks like the Venetian lustreglass I used up so I'll get this as well if anything because the shade is called 'Wonder Woman'. Athena's Kiss looks nice but I have too many lip colors like that already. Secret Identity--no thanks. That color doesn't work for me.

I love the MSFs because of the bronzer in them. Golden Lariat I'm leaving because I have too much cool blue undertones in my skin to pull it off. Pink Power is definitely right up my alley!

Definitely getting the Mighty Aprhodite blush duo. I missed out on Ripe Peach and this will work well with the NARS Cactus Flower cream blush I own. Still on the fence about Amazonian Princess since I have Her Blooming Cheek from A Tartan Tale and Briar Rose from Venomous Villains.

Nope i have decided to stick to getting the peach blush. i usually prefer peachy blushers anyway on my skin and after seeing the pink i think it would be far too pigmented and bright for me. besides i want to get the bright pink blush from jeanious collection so i dont need another the green mascara is looking awesome! i'm so happy that they chose to do them in the opulash formula! i freaking love them! the quads all seem blah to me. esp now i have seen better pictures of the green one, i was right in taking it off my list
