I just got back from Soho. I got a chance to view the whole collection, I must say I agree with you on your sentiment of this collection. IT was a huge disapointent (at least for me anyway) I only got golden lariat MSF and that's becuase it looked absolutely gorgeous on me!(mufe 177/mat velvet #70 MAC NC50/C7) so much so, that I got 2 of them.
Pink power did nothing for my skin tone. It looks much better on light to medium skin tones. It looked well on my NC25 friend who came with me she bought 2 as well.

Quads major disappointment the pink one the worst just like temptalia said very chalky, the lady justice quad not much there, the green one the one that i had my hopes for that colour the name escapes me this moment...the one that temptalia did a comparison of bottle green on very chalky! that quad isn't worth the $40.
Blushes- MA blush did nothing for my skin tone the lighter colour was ashy but the darker colour was nice the only problem is is that it's the small part of the blush. I'd rather buy NARS Cactus flower blush something I need for $2 more it was nothing like I expected I has hoping it'll be like BOA blush. AP blush was very nice but I have band of roses already so I passed.
Lipsticks-Marquise'd settled in the lines of my lips, and it felt a little dry on not the characteristic of a lustre so I passed, I own Russian red so I skipped, spitfire didn't do much for me and Heroine looked really nice but I hate frost lipsticks my lips felt really dry..
The lipglasses they're a bit awkward to use, like wonder woman a lot I may get that if it comes to the CCO.

I also got the eye shadows that I wanted from peacocky collection. i went to pro and they were out of bottle green but I swatched the tester i love it! can't wait til it comes in the next shipment.

Well,

After reviewing Christine's blog I decided to pass on most of WW except for the msf's since I collect them.

WHEW!

Now on to the summer collection in May!

I have to say that I, too, am dissappointed. Nothing seems unique enough, and while I would like a compact with the special packaging... I really can't say I like any of the blushes. I'll go check it out in person but I'll probably be skipping this and going to try out some other brands (finally! ha)

Even though a lot of the collection seems underwhelming, I'm still really really excited for the pre-release event on Tuesday! Plus, I heard an MA talking about there being a photo booth where you can get your picture to look like a comic strip which is totally adorable!

I'm trying not to let all the bad reviews get me down because I really do love the packaging. If nothing else, I'm going to pick up the blush duos for sure. After reading Christine's reviews of the quads, I'll definitely be skipping...it's not like I need anymore shadows anyway! I can probably do without any lip products too.

Shontay, I had the same kind of reaction to Opulash; my eyes were tearing and stinging...not fun. But I totally love the green mascara! What to do, what to do....

Now this isn't the best picture of me but I wanted to show the girls with questions about Russian Red looking good on someone who is around NC20 that it does indeed look nice. It is one of my favorite reds.

Oh this is lovely on you! I'm NC20 as well and I've been wanting Russian Red, so you confirmed it for me lol
I don't own a true red besides Rozz Revival which is more watermelon red and otherwise reds with strong pink tones that look more hot pink.

Thanks for sharing. My Wonder Woman haul might be very small, but I think it will still be fairly costly

Yeh don't let the reviews get you down. I think you'll have loads of fun just taking in all the excitment of the displays, packaging and the people there. The comic strip photo booth sounds like a lot of fun. You will have have to share all the details with us after.

[/quote] I've decided not to take a chance. I believe it's the same formula and I don't want to do a return. As a matter of fact, I have scrapped this collection. I'm not buying anything. I was looking at my massive stash last night and realized nothing in this WW collection compared to what I already have.

Same here but my list has been reduced based on the reviews.

- 2x blushes
- 2x MSF
- Marquise D' lipstick
- Wonder Woman lipglass

I assume the blushes and MSF will sell out first and I would have hoped that they would launch a new red lipstick. I already own Russian Red. They just could have renamed it to Prussian Red and got me right there.

I'm still planning on taking the time to swatch everything. I'll even take The Great Enabler with me. lt wouldn't surprise me if I ended up with a couple of things, I just feel kind of bummed because those two quads got my hopes up. To hear that they're not up to snuff is frustrating, since they look so pretty in the pans...

Me too girl. I was so excited for the Lady Justice quad, it looked so pigmented and beautiful in that first vid we saw of it. But turns out it's not as great on the eyes.

[/quote] I hear ya girl. It will give you more money for the spring/summer collections. And when u get your Peacocky stuff it will make up for WW. The PC coll is spectacular, it def won't disappoint. I'm excited for u to get them

I think this is a really poor collection. I will be skipping the lipglasses because of the packaging issues. I can dupe the Pink MSF. One thing I think every red lip lover should have though, is Russian Red. If I should pick one Mac lipstick that is universally flattering, RR would be my choice, it's a classic. But since I already have RR, Wonder Woman leaves me only the mascaras. They better not burn my eyes or I will scream! How can Mac let out things with so poor texture? Like unpigmented eyeshadows in all three quads, or the lipglasses with packaging that drop gloss on your clothes when applying? How those things are not noticed when testing these products? Or then they really do not care if everything is not great quality. It sucks, seems like it is more important to release more collections with poor products, than fewer collections with spot on quality products. "Money money money..." This has happened way too many times now. They need someone there to say this is crap, don't release this.

As I was watching Justice League last night with my little boy I realized what a bad chick Wonder Woman is and how mad I am that this collection isn't better to do her justice.

Anyway, I think I've added Amazon Princess back on my list. I don't have any bright pinks or berry colored blushes so I'll give this a go. I think I might take WW off the list though because I have a red I adore and I think I just want WW because of the name.

New list: both blushes. That's it and I'm mad this collection didn't have me drooling like I wanted so badly.
