Wow, totally unexpected. Those are so adorable and bring me right back to my youth. I really am not a fan of lip palettes at all and I never buy just for packaging, but if there's a compact in this packaging I will have to get one and that's that.

Does anyone know the price of these? I mean if a reg with 6 lip colors is $40 then how much for this one. But then again it is special packaging so idk

those compacts are amazing! i hope there's one from the collection that has colours i've wanted to justify getting one! ;)

Please forgive me as I don't know much about the artist, but are the illustrations on the compacts meant to be 80's looking? It kinda has a Jem and the Holgograms/Misfits vibe about it. Not feeling it so easy skip for me.

OMG, I was thinking the same thing! Although, I'm probably the only one who doesn't like them. Kinda cheapy looking, IMO.

Antonio was the top fashion illustrator of the 70's and 80's so yep, expect the 80's look.

These two aren't iconic images of his, though….I bet MAC is using some previously unpublished art of his - cheaper to license that way

I can appreciate having a lip palette for when I travel, but not on a day to day basis. The packaging makes me want to but something for my mother, even though she isn't a huge make up lover. Is the quality of the lip color in palettes just as good?

You know I saw this and kept ignoring it because I wasn't sure which collection they were from! The pink one on the second set definitely does not look like CYY more like Saint Germain. Filter or no filter CYY isn't that white! Not to mention where's Violetta?

Maybe this is from the retro matte collection?

I was thinking Saint Germain too. If these are the retro mattes, I'm going to be saving lots of money on MAC this year.

The quality is no different than any other lipstick.
