I actually loveeee the artwork too! I thought I was the only one =P! Can't wait. Sadly I only want the pink lip palette but maybe my list will grow when I see swatches =D
That's how I feel too! I might get sucked into getting one of the eye shadow palettes. But, I'll need to see swatches first.

I actually really like the packaging. It screams 80's to me but, I'm a child of that era so, naturally I'd be drawn to it. It's not for everyone that's for sure. I'm not picking up much from this collection. That Fuschia Palette is a must have because, I missed out on Moxie the few times it was released and I want to get my hands on it. I don't have Violetta either. I already own Candy Yum Yum but, I'm down to last few uses on my tube so, this will be a perfect replacement. I'm not a fan of using lip brushes but, I will make an exception for this one. I also want to pick up the mirror too. I think it's cool looking. I kinda pumped for this to come out soon.

Well he passed away in 1987 didnt he? So its not that weird that it looks 80's, cause it literally is :p I love it aswell, its so fun and retro.

I still want the makeup bag. I love the 80s!

Also that teal palette has some gorgeous colors, but I'm checking out the descriptions on Temptalia and it looks like they're almost all Lustres. I can't with the Lustres. UGH! MAC what the hell??? I have Greensmoke which is probably one of the better ones, and although I love it when I use it, it's such a PITA. And I never use Lustres together, which would basically render this palette pointless for me. Blah.

Yeah. I wasn't to keen on the Lustres either. It's not my favorite formula. Not all but, most are always VERY sheer and kinda dry and patchy to work with. I like more pigment for my money. That's why I was waiting for swatches. They don't look horrible but, not great. And if I only want it for the packaging, then it's not worth it to me.

I actually enjoy lustres. They always seem to apply nicely on my pigmented lips. Other formulas can look uneven/splotchy.

I was like wait you put lustres on your lips?? Ha ha! But you were talking about the lippies. We meant the shadows in the teal quad. Lustre lipsticks are cool with me (thought I wish they lasted longer), but the shadow lustres I've found to be quite difficult to work with.

I am also curious to see the swatches of these kits...

Many of the colors like Belightful are re-promotes so if you google the colors individually, you can see what they look like. I love Belightful, but I am a glitter girl at heart. (its a lovely light tan bronzer with gold micro glitter) which is perfect bronzing on me (NW17ish or so)

Why? I have never tried any.
They're too glittery for a face powder, there's no colour, yet they come in different colours, they ball up in the compact from the face oils mixing with them, they're just not my cup of tea. I much prefer MSFs or EDSFs.

Thank you. Does that include silver dusk too? I love msf!! And honey rose liquid powder. When you said it will be discontinued I got two BUs and I never back up anything. That tells you how much I love it

Well silver dusk is different cuz it's loose, so those behave much different. The pressed version sucks ass! The loose ones are much finer and behave much better. The MCLPs are FANFREAKINTASTIC and I'm sad they got the boot. I use T&L every day of my life!

I never knew there was a such thing as a lustre eyeshadow formula. I don't like lustre lipsticks and I am sure I will not like the eyeshadow formula either.
