Thanks. It was definitely a slap in the face. Every single colleague of mine was also let go... place is closing, apparently. Nice of the owners to let us all know. /sarcasm. I mean it takes the sting off a bit knowing that it was nothing personal but... yeah. Sucks.

So sorry that happened to you. The owners could have at least extended the courtesy of giving you more notice. Hopefully another opportunity will come along real soon for you.

I just picked mine up at the post office today and I'm pleased with it. The packaging is beautiful. I got fuchsia lip set and copper eyes set but haven't used them yet, I was already made up for the day.

It's a lot easier to sell me 6 different eye shades for less than the price of the quads they put out. I don't even care that a quad has bigger shadows, I would rather have more colors.

Call the number on the receipt and arrange for replacements before they sell out. You will probably have to pay to ship them back but each one should be replaced if still available. If not, they should refund your credit/funds. HTH.

It sold out on the first day here. However I skipped it because I'm not a big red wearer and one (Scarlet Ibis?) looked identical to my Lady Danger to me... no thanks.





However, I'm now almost kicking myself for buying.... After blowing all too much money at MAC, today, I lost my job. Perfect.

I didn't know the red palette sold out so quickly over there. I saw the collection but I didn't bring anything home. The packaging is adorable! The fuchsia palette was pretty, I like all the colours, but not the matte finish. The 2 mattes were felt very dry to me, so I passed. Now that I think of it, I could have picked up the red palette, but it also contains 2 mattes.

And its a good idea that it can be refilled! I can just cut my lipstick and push it into the pan with a metal spatula.

I just received my pink palette and I'm so happy with it!! I tried on Candy Yum Yum and after I tried Moxie. Moxie is an AMAZING colour and I will be wearing it on a special night out this Saturday. I put some Smash Hit Dazzle lipstick from the Indulge collection and it gives it a beautiful sparkle! It's really stunning!

It is a great palette for me as I didn't have any of the three colours so I can try the three and eventually buy them if I like them (if Moxie comes out again, lol). I'd definitely buy Moxie straight away, it's a gorgeous colour!!
I also love the design on the palette now that I have it in person. I didn't like the drawings much and I thought it would look cheap but it's actually very nice and expensive looking. I'm used to using a lip brush which I always take with me so that's no problem. I also liked what someone here noted: that I can refill it with other lippies when I run out of these!

The palettes really are great if you don't already have any of the colors already, and its nice that we can get some re-promotes like Dear Cupcake and Moxie, alongside some trusty perm and some new shades. (I'm looking at you, teal palette!)

IMO these palettes look expensive, but then, compared to the RiRi Fall collection, most things do!!

I'm not going to hit pan on any e/s any time soon. Besides, I was a teenager in the 80s. I did the hair, make everything bold makeup and big earrings. The pin through the ear bit didn't even strike me as odd.

The packaging is super cute! I didn't like it much in photos but it's so cute in real life! I also think they're useful little palettes. I think the eyeshadow ones would be great for travelling! And the copper one is so beautiful! You must show pics when you get it!
