The Pearlmattes are relatively subtle, even on a paleface like me. I'm looking forward to both of them in Baking Beauties to use as all-over finishing powder.

I find with some products people expect more color than the product is designed to give. These Pearlmattes are not blushes. So you may think the PMs don't do anything to your face, because the color doesn't build on your cheeks like a blush. But it's quite possible that they're actually do something with their subtle brightening if you brush them on your cheekbones, brow bones, and forehead.

It also depends in part on the light. Under normal household lighting they're probably less noticeable to you. But under bright sun you might see what they're doing. Perhaps if you get a second opinion under the right light you'll understand what they're doing. Even in household light, maybe someone else can see them. I find with many kinds of makeup products putting them on in the right lighting makes a huge difference.

Finally, the Pearlmattes work on us palies as all-over brightener and they seem to work on WoC as highlighters. But it's possible that you're somewhere in between - the Betty one might not show, but Veronica is so silvery it should show up. What's your skin color and tone?

I don't have Passionately Tempted myself, but I read a comparison between the two earlier somewhere in this thread.
I think that Passionately Tempted has more red undertones and Prom Princess has more violet or blue undertones.

Again, I don't own Passionately Tempted myself, so I can't say 100%.
Thank you, and I think you made me buy prom princess... LOL

We call that Jellyfish skin. I have it

you will be able to wear GND. With a lot of those pale ls colors, you can't just cake them on. They look better done lightly. They are also great for wearing something like DLG over it. Lightly of course.
Jellyfish Skin! I love it! I was on the fence about getting it, cuz I have MLLE and Saint Germain and they both were WAY to pale on my lips. Even when I sheered them out, it was overkill. I'm hoping that the lustre formula is more subdued in this one. It's on the lavender side so, I will see what happens when I get it. I didn't get DLG because, it looked to similar to OF, just a different finish.

VGN1 is also the worse on me, I love the color but it makes my lips look gross within 2 hours. What do you use to exfoliate and condition your lips?

Well, the simplest thing is sugar and olive oil - other oils work ok, too, but olive is good for your skin. Mix a little of each together, rub it on your lips with your fingers, then wipe off with a washcloth.

Because it's fun i have Mint JuLIPS Lip Scrub from LUSH, which is mostly sugar and jojoba oil with mint and vanilla (yum).

Not so long ago I discovered i had a luxury sample of a Jack Black balm from sephora. I normally am not a big fan of balms, but my lips had gotten terribly chapped and it worked like a charm to soothe and heal them, much better than any other balm i'd ever used.

I know people will say hey isn't it supposed to be for sore nipples for breast feading woman. I will say yes but it is a good night therapy. I only use it at night and only when I have really bad lips. But it works for me at least until I find the perfect lip balm

Lanolin has a long history as an ingredient in soothing salves. It's just that nowadays with so many chemical "miracles" many of us have forgotten how well some simple products work. Lanolin is for much more than sore nipples, it's just a simple natural product that is safe for a baby to put in its mouth.

It should be fine for most vegetarians, too, since it comes out of the wool, and no animal has to die to get lanolin. It's probably not ok for vegans and Brahmins, though.

well I''m a light to medium complexion (i'm latina), I don't know if it's easy to see with my picture. I don't wear mac foundation so I don't know how to compare myself to their foundations. Is there a possibility of over applying the PM's to your face? What are WOC? (sorry

) Would they look good if applied over blush?

i got some goodies in the mail for some cps today and im waiting for 1 box tomorrow. i cant wait to go to the store and pick my pre-orders on thursday. im really liking how BB and DLG
look.
- i felt like ordering RR but no. im going to be strong and skip it. i have tooo many reds already.
- Elegantone- Is the NARS pressed Powder as good as the loose one??
Hey!!!

The pressed is equally as good as the loose as far as that flawless, long-staying makeup power. Some are just finding that their skin care/makeup is staining the pressed powder. The pressed - you can pat into the skin. I am preferring the loose, but I am happy to have the pressed. I am using the pressed on naked skin. LOVE

BB & DLG are awesome

Oh, forgot to add to my little event recap, one of the MUAs wore boyfriend stealer as a liner stopping at the inner lip and then applied Rebel over a part of that, and carrying it up the middle of the lip. It's was beautiful, and took rebel to a whole other level. I'm going to try it with yung rapunxel. rebel is never deep, and luscious on me as it is on some people. Adding the dark purple will make it just what I am looking for without using up all of my nightmoth or currant
