MAC... Stop effing with these people and do a proper restock
ok!MAC... Stop effing with these people and do a proper restock
Missing it by minutes is always painful, especially when it is due to hesitation! That launch was a disaster! I missed out on the MAC, Nordies and Macys launches. I was lucky though to then be able to get it from a Nordies store and then a backup from the Bloomies site (which had it on a long backorder - very weird, because they didn't have LJ in stock during the original launch). Everything about the LJ stock issues has been crazy and unpredictable. My fingers are crossed you are lucky with a restock!
Seems like it's fully gone now. The pic is still there in the lipstick list but when you click on it, it takes you back to the homepageIt was restocked just now but taken out of my cart ...
Uh-uh...nothing can claim worst launch ever except Rihanna - pick any of the multiple launches. Just...too much. Traumatic to this day. Ok, maybe that last sentence was a bit of melodrama, but I can't be sure.:werd: Worst launch ever! I think it was even worse than Rocky Horror!

I'll say RiRi Holiday was definitely the worst! I either couldn't get into the waiting room or was in there so long that I gave up after an hour or so!Uh-uh...nothing can claim worst launch ever except Rihanna - pick any of the multiple launches. Well for some reason I feel like the waiting room thing, while annoying, was better than these. We had a time and didn't have to do the whole stalking BS (granted waiting for an hr or two to only pick up the scraps is unfortunate). I personally got some of my riri stuff from Nordies or in store. I just feel everything about BBW was disorganised. Stores launching the wrong days and times. People ordering through the Nordies back door..... that was just too much for me. I can only imagine how much worse the Riri launches would have been had they happened in this day the way the IG hype is now.Ok, maybe that last sentence was a bit of melodrama, but I can't be sure.
I agree. RiRi Holiday and the RHPS were complete disasters. In fact, every LE collection in the past 2 years has been the perfect example of how not to release a collection. Mac has perfected the art of how to ***K up a LE collection.I'll say RiRi Holiday was definitely the worst! I would love to get my hands on another Lavender Jade. Would you believe they actually sent me an extra one by accident and I gave it away.I wouldn't be surprised if there were at least one more surprise restock. One of the most difficult shades to procure has had the weirdest restocking history. Definitely check this thread regularly if you can't stalk the MAC site.
Yes! Please Mac. Is that asking for too much? Huh?MAC... Stop effing with these people and do a proper restock
But then again, buying the much coveted lipstick that was sold out in a matter of minutes does give one a great rush. It is sad for the ones who really wanted an item and were too late to buy it, but MAC won't sell less because of the drama. I do think it is part of the charm of a limited collection. Knowing that it really is limited.I agree. RiRi Holiday and the RHPS were complete disasters. Fair point. Well made BUT why can't the collection stay around for at least a full 24 HOURS. Is that too much to ask???Quote: But then again, buying the much coveted lipstick that was sold out in a matter of minutes does give one a great rush. Well, if you know that a collection will be sold for 24 hours you still don't know how much of the collection has been sold. Everybody in the world could have bought a lipstick plus 3 bu's. It still doesn't have this exclusive feel. Maybe mac could give us more insight in how "exclusive" a collection is to just say that they will sell a number of items and just print numbers on the packaging.Fair point. Someone is selling Lavender Jade for $40. There are three for sale. I wish the price was lower. I can't pay $40 for a $17 lipstick. That does not include shipping.
Why? Why? Why?
