Whew! I am slowly trying to get through all that I have missed since the first of the year in these color story threads. I am beyond bummed that I missed out on this collection especially the eye products. I am such a shadow junkie but hopefully I will be able to track them down some day soon. :) Hope that everyone is doing well and I love seeing all of the looks that people are doing with the products.

we miss you too Katie! :)

I got Mehr lipstick, and both fluidlines from this collection. I was hoping Mehr would have been a bit lighter. But it isn't too dark. And it is a bit drying unfortunately. On Temptalia I remember she said the Siahi (spelling?) fluidline was more pigmented than Ivy but my Ivy FL is more pigmented than the other. But I love them both!

how do you guys apply the fluidlines to your waterline? all i have is a 209 brush... i shall experiment but i think that could turn out messy!

Have you ever used the Maybelline cream liners? They come with a brush and honestly it is my favorite cream/gel liner brush. It is sooo easy to use, makes thin or think lines and is easy to keep clean. I have a ton of makeup brushes and none of them work as well as that cheap little thing lol

I don't usually find them too difficult to apply, although they do tend to smudge below the waterline fairly easily. I'd recommend doing eyes first and then foundation/ concealer if you don't already do so... hides any little mistakes. I tried Ivy on my waterline yesterday and it went on very smoothly, with plenty of pigment (and I was using something shaped like the 209).

Today was box day for me!! I finally got Gulabi which, as I thought, is pretty much exactly like Catharina, maybe a hair bluer... Oh well, I can say that I have a back-up for it. This is more than made up for by how much I love Play It Proper from Stylishly Yours. I'm wearing it today and I just love the sort of rose-petal glow it gives me... I think this is probably my favourite highlighter aside from Lightscapade.

I managed to get 5 things from this collection that I was DYING to get:

Siahi & Ivy fluidlines
Gulabi and Mehr lipsticks
Gana (although it's promoted as a blush, I'll be using it as a highlighter)

I had asked my sweet BF to keep an eye out on these b/c they were sold out online and to put it on hold for me if he ever saw them but he surprised me by calling 2 MAC locations multiple times for the last several weeks (secretly) and managed to buy it when they restocked!

YAY! Cannot wait.

p.s. I know I mentioned this before but I love this collection so much for the names which are in my native language of Urdu (The names can be considered in Hindi as well since Urdu/Hindi are 98% the same). And the colors are PERFECT for Pakistani/Indian (south asian) skin. Cannot wait to get my hands on these!

I take a pencil liner that is a similar colour, dip that in the fluidline and then apply it to my waterline. I find the pencil makes an excellent tool, it's simple and it paints the fluidline to my waterline without any hassle. Try it! :)

Katred, how is PiP compared to Lightscapade? Which one do you prefer? :)

I'd be curious to know that too!

I only got Yash and teh quad but I love this collection. The quad was so worth it for me. I am gonna use that sucker up!

Lightscapade seems whiter to me and seems to give more of a highlight, whereas PiP has a softer appearance. My heart still belongs to Lightscapade, but I will say that it can bee a bit much during the day. Play it Proper is more natural looking in the light- Lightscapade has a really ethereal glow that can look a little waxy in bright lighting. I don't know if that makes sense. Honestly, I'm happy to have both, but, since Lightscapade is a fading memory unless you want to pay a fortune on ebay, I'd say that Play it Proper is an excellent choice for a similar sort of effect.

OMG! I come home to an envelope on the edge of my couch and it's my order from the Vegas pro store!!! I got Marvel, Gulabi and a backup of Mehr. Marvel is very, very pretty. It's totally worth having this and Noir Plum from Peacocky. They are noticeably different. Mehr is just lovely, as I already knew. The huge, huge revelation here is Gulabi. Seriously, every woman should have this lipstick. Had I known, I would've bought 2. It kicks GAT in the teeth. You will have to pry it from my cold, dead hands. It is amazing. I'm going to put pics in the swatch thread in a few. I also took another pic of Mehr since my lips are in much better condition now.

Dang it Shontay, I was all set to be on a no buy until Surf Baby (I'm saving up for a trip to Vegas!) but I had to go look at your new pics in the swatch threads. Now I totally want to hunt down Mehr, Scandelicious and Gulabi, they all look beautiful on you!

[/quote] Sorry! Seriously, find them! They are worth it. I would pay Ebay prices for Mehr and Gulabi had I missed out on them. They are incredible. I like Scandelicious a lot but it's not a fave. I could've skipped it and been fine, but I was feeling excessive at the time.
