Here are swatches of the quad ( artificial lighting ) :
The texture is super silky, very smooth ( very easy to apply and play with ).
I have few MAC quads ( 5 so far I know ), this one is truly a must-have IMO.

My regular black tea has been tasting so bad for a while so I have been experimenting. But I usually end up with coffee lol I have only ever BUed three makeup items so Corol has blew me away. I thought Ocean City would do that but Corol came like a dark horse. The deliberation was worth it. Are you happy with your recent purchases?

So, I just did a MAC chat and they told me all North America stores are getting this collection, which seemed odd to me as I thought it is only selected stores. MAC: Hello Alison! Alison: Do you know if the Pedro Lourenco collection will be available in any Phoenix, AZ stores? MAC: The Pedro Lourenco Collection launched in all North America locations today. Check with a location near you for availability. I really am thinking about the quad but want to "feel" the matte shades first. Can someone who bought the quad please give me an idea of how buttery the matte shades are? I really like Laura Mercier's matte formula (soft, buttery and pigmented) if that helps. TIA to anyone who may help me decide.

They lied to you, just like they lied to me. I asked the same thing on Mac chat and they told me all stores were getting it. I called my local store and they said they were getting it. Then I went there today and they said only select stores got it and showed me a list of like 20 stores that actually got it. From some photos people have posted here, it looks like the silver Mirror has been labeled Gold Mirror and is in a box labeled Gold Mirror -- and Gold Mirror is just labeled (silver) Mirror and in the (silver) Mirror box.
So they'll just keep sending the wrong thing because of the mislabeling if you keep ordering the same thing...
I'd tell them to LOOK IN THE BOX to verify it's the correct product, but i doubt that will actually happen, i.e., that they'll look in the box. Everybody's on a time clock and they have very little time to pick, pack, and ship each order. Dumb, dumb, dumb with mislabeling issues.

So I was going back and forth about the blush. I really like the color on the dark part (wishing there was a little more of it). Then I wasn't sure how the color would look on my skin tone, if it would look ashy. So I broke down and located the blush today and ordered two. I hope I'm happy.

Aesthetically, the proportions look nice but I would've liked a little more of the plummy part, too.
I just got back from the store, and purchased Corol. I think the pale part just swatches badly. I could hardly see it swatched on my hand, but when I put it on, it was fine. I even over-applied it, and had to buff it down because it was too much. It's a subtle look, for sure, but I like it. I think the mattes in the quad are very nice indeed, but I'm no expert when it comes to assessing texture. Possibly someone might think they are a little powdery, depending on your standards, but I think they are fine. I think this quad is more useable, really, than the Naked palettes, since the shades all go together wonderfully, and you aren't overwhelmed having to decide what to put together. A really great set for travel or an everyday quick go-to for work. I would actually back it up if I was more flush right now, since it's a real classic. I also got the brow set from the Osbournes, and I think the shadows in that set work as a nice little add-on to the quad. I really love this collection, just like I loved Nudes and Metallics last year. But now I'm going to slow it right down, since my running total is much higher than it should be only half-way through the year, and I want to wait to see if anything really special comes up for the fall. Hey, what kind of spell-checker changes "I" to "ain't"! That is not a suggestion that should ever happen!! I think my iPad was having a little joke on me, when I reviewed my post before sending it!

The quad is beautiful, you will love it. Really great wearable shades, nice consistency and the compact is so so pretty. I think it will be good for travel, too. At least it's still in stock, plus Mac has free overnight shipping right now.

So finally after a very busy and sleepless morning I decided to hunt down the collection. Yesterday I called one of the closest stores near me and I was told they would have the collection...well surprise, surprise I stopped there first and they didn't have it..sigh. Anyway I decided to drive the extra 20 minutes to my Pro store and was able to swatch everything. I hate to be a party pooper but I wasn't impressed by anything but Mirror, the lipsticks are gorgeous but they're nothing I don't already own. I compared swatches of Roxo and Diva since those two were the two I was most curious about and although Roxo is pretty I would much rather wear Diva. I feel like Roxo is a more wearable formula for those afraid to rock dark shades...maybe? idk. I swatched the blush with my fingers at first and wasn't able to pick up much color similar to what happened with the pink blush from Proenza. With a brush it applies much better but i wasn't fond of how ashy it looked on my NC44 face ;/ All in all I feel pretty ok about skipping most of this collection....Oh and I forgot to mention that one of the employees tried to correct me when I asked for Mirror, she kept telling me it was Gold Mirror. I explained to her the error in manufacturing and it was as if she wasn't listening to a thing I was saying, til I said "open the box and tell me which one looks like gold mirror to you?" she went to the back to check her book and finally agreed with me...Geez how about giving your sick hoarder customers a little credit lol
