I'm very intrigued to see swatches of the purples and to find out what the finishes are! (Even though I'm just getting the e/l lol) I'm just bummed that there wasn't one more lipstick in a lighter color. I saw a light pink on Prabal's IG that I might have bought even with the square packaging.

I wonder how heavy these lipsticks are gonna be? I hope they are "heavy enough that I could one in a sock and knock someone over the head with it" heavy. I want these things to weigh a ton and the casing be made out of metal instead of plastic

I just knew DG would pull very pink on me so I was sensible and skipped it. I really hope that these won't!

I don't know, but I can't bring myself to pay more for essentially just prettier packaging... same quality, similar colour stuff. Will see if i change my tune when I see these in person - these are quite pretty though!

I agree. The color has to really be unique for me to dig in my wallet and pay twice the price of a normal tube of Mac lipstick. I wonder if Mac is trying this price point to see if fans will pay whatever price Estée Lauder wants to set it at for their product. We see this with Nars raising their price for the Perm Audacious collection to $32. IMO, it is not worth it and I'm a BIG fan of Nars.

I think the packaging will attract YSL/Tom Ford/Guerlain/Dior etc fans. The ad is very Vogue magazine. MAC fans will be able to take their time to swatch and try on, knowing the lipsticks won't instantly sell out given the price point.

I thought of YSL as soon as I saw the packaging. I haven't been keeping up with this thread at all but something made me come in here. I have never been one to buy a MAC item because of packaging but this might be the first time I make an exception. WHOA MAMA!!

Hello MRV Mineralize lipsticks are 25€ I think, they were 24 € when released or maybe I am wrong . 30 € is much for a MAC lippie but the colours and packagings are amazing . High end packaging in fact. Worth the splurge ( ok as always lol )

I love the packaging. I don't typically buy collections for the packaging but this one ... might have to change that. I just need the lipstick and the lip gloss, I'll be set.
