I agree. It's hard not to be excited but I'm wary of it just being a black eyeliner and a dupeable or even repromoted red lipstick in a tiny gold lamé makeup bag

Veluxe Pearl is the finish that gives the best pigmentation imho. Mattes can vary from very pigmented to chalky. I recommend try VP first.
