I want the gold for sure now, but the red looks so....basic. Kinda reminds me of Red Racer but a little lighter.

Yup nothing is special about the"perfect red" to me. It looks too orangey too. Total skip. I'll wait for the Marilyn red, which I hope is more blue/cool toned.

Depends on the undertone of the person wearing it. I really don't think it will look orange on me - more like the bolder look modelled by a few higher in the thread. I know it's not for everyone but it seems like there are a bazillion great cool reds and so few warm ones (that aren't brown). I'm excited to get it.

Be nice if the Marilyn one was cool toned so that everyone could get a great red.

I'm actually hoping it is a slightly tomato based red (but not red-orange). Most of the shots from the initial launch look more pure red than that to me, but maybe it depends on the liner used.

Besides, you just got Red Racer. Go play with that. Shoo. Stop dissing my baby.

Thanks for the pictures, Audrey C! The lighting in the second picture looks a little warm. I adjusted the color balance in Photoshop. (Sorry, it's just a quickie job! LOL) What do you think? I think the lipstick looks beautiful in both pictures. I'll probably still skip it. I have to wear my Red Racer first.
