The lippie looks marvelous on you! Love it with the bright eyes. I don't think it would look as good on me. I'm going to skip and hold off for the nude lippie from Marilyn. I may not get that one either, depends on swatches.

NOOOO! I had wanted it to be blue based. That is what the description says. Why does MAC play with my heart string like that?!

Sometimes they say blue or grey based and it isn't, sometimes yellow or pink based and it isn't. Why MAC why???????? I'll let you know how it is on my skin once I receive it.

It is really warm, definitely closest to Red Racer and that's supposed to be yellow based.

Oh, why did I have to see this lol. Gold looks so awesome! I am glad that Red is different from Russian but similar to Red Racer. I have Russian and missed out on Red Racer. Thanks for the swatches Richelle!

I thought maybe it was just my arm and my eyes were being deceived lol so that's why I swatched it on paper. But either way it does look warm, don't see blue at all. Hope it works for you!

It looks so good on you! I think i know why i can't pull off nudes now. My blond hair is the problem, i think if i had brown hair it would look better. Ow well i'll just continue to wear brights

You're a blond & I'm a redhead (more Auburn than bright red). I don't think this color would work on me either. I think girls with dark hair can pull this beautiful shade off better than us light heads. Notice how I didn't say "air heads" LOL. Just joking. I'm in a silly mood for some reason today.

I'm naturally blonde. I dye my hair this color, lol.

I like my hair darker because it gives me more makeup options...

Thanks Richelle and liesierre for the pics! The nude does look like it's a nice shade for cooltoned gals, and judging from those pics the texture doesn't look that dry.

The gold looks so pretty layerd over the red. But I don't really like layering lip products and also don't wear reds, so not sure if I would get much use out of it if I would get it.

I have been thinking about changing my hair colour, but i think i love my blond hair too much. I'll just have to do with less makeup options. It does prevent that i'll buy even more makeup i guess.

I don't think its any more drying than any other lipstick for me, personally. It goes on nicely...no tugging, doesnt feel dry when you apply it.... I tend to have really dry lips normally, so I usually put a gloss over things at some point, but just from the application standpoint...it felt like the other new matte formulas do to me.

I've been dying my hair this color for like 10-12 years....I've done it bright red before...and hot pink... but I always come back to this color.

I just don't feel like a blonde...never really have. The only thing that is annoying is blonde roots. Blonde roots with dark brown hair makes me look like my hair is thinning, lol.
