I'm curious - is it tricky to apply lipstick or lipgloss with the ring in your lip?

eh...not really. I just do one side and then the other...
it does sometimes become a pain when wearing a bright color and it gets on the ring...and it rotates around...sometimes i get a lipstick mark around the hole under my lip, lol

I'm pleased it's a warm tone too. I thought I couldn't pull them off until I started wearing them. If I can get compliments on Sail La Vie then a warm red should be awesome too. I have Lady Danger and am hoping it's not too close but whatevs I'll still enjoy it lol.

Richelle, any idea how Ruffian Red compares to Lady Danger? I was worried it might be too close to Russian but now I'm more curious as to how close it is to LD. Lol! I can't wait for it to arrive and it's gonna be my first new matte. Thanks.

I don't have LD...it's on my list to buy! But looking online LD looks close but more orange, not completely sure though.

Np, it is a really nice color. I am thinking that it looks more orange than Ruffian as well. I am hoping that Ruffian is in between Russian and LD.

Lady Danger is really close to Scarlet Ibis. thats why i didnt back up SI. on me they look the same. funny story: one of the mac artist told me that scarlet ibis look really good on me when i was using lady danger.

After seeing temptalia's swatches i think i will like the gold on its own as well. It will be great for summer

I saw the swatches on Temptalia. Looks like Ruffian Red is similar to Red Racer which is great since I missed out on it. It just might be between Russian and LD. Very cool!
