I'm an NC44 and I bought it. It's very pale, and definitely needs to be paired with something else to make it wearable.

I'm so excited for my package to arrive...hope nothing melts...hot as hades here today!!! For the darker skintones maybe try pairing the nude w chestnut? I wear that with you're perfect already and it looks good.

I actually really like the gold l/s on her on it's own. But I can see why she doesn't like the nails.

My Red and Gold arrive today! I'm hoping they arrive intact since it feels like a 106 degrees today and I have the bad luck of my lippies arriving melted. *fingers crossed*

Maybe my lips are more sensitive than Temptalia's, but I do find Ruffian Gold to be gritty! Layered by itself I was like ee gads, just like sand. It's not uncomfortable or too annoying, but it definitely feels gritty to me.

Anyways. Lip swatches!


My lips without lipstick. I have prep + prime lip and Jack Black lip balm to hydrate.



Ruffian Naked. It's different. I'm undecided whether it makes me look dead, but there is a definite pink hue to it, and I think the beige in it is complementary. If I had a darker eye look it might be a-ok


Ruffian Gold. Me likey. I can forsee just using some balm and dabbing this ever so slightly in the center of my lips and good to go, out the door.


Ruffian Red. No lip liner or concealer, just straight from the tube. I thiiiiiink I'm in love with this red

A friend of mine offered to get me the red one, but first I was undecided, and then MAC cancelled her order.
And now I've major skippers remorse after seeing all the gorgeous swatches!

Oh well, I'll get it eventually in September. Can't wait!

They arrived! And are intact! The box was sooooo hot that i could feel the heat radiating from it in my hands. The lipstick tube felt like it was on a heating pad all day. Luckily, both lippies are intact and i shoved them in the fridge immediately.

Funny how colours can look so different on different people.
I'm exactly the same with back ups now. I counted my lippies last week and i have 55 now and two more are on their way. So i really don't need all these back ups, but i just love some colours so much that i never want to run out.
You're welcome. I don't want you to get too much back ups now and regret it later on when more beautiful lippies come out, but i also don't want you to be sad that you didn't get back ups. That's a bit of a problem with mac sometimes. You don't have enough time to decide on back ups. If you want it you have to buy it now or never.

I think this is why I keep buying the backups of the things I love. With MAC LE, it's fun, but overwhelming at the same time. I've been thinking about if I should backup Out for Fun (Casual Colour). It's always now or never.

It started yesterday morning we have a lot of rivers and creeks that flow in to Lake Superior so there is a lot of water. I heard about the animals and was heart broken. Two seals were found on a busy road and a Polar bear got out of his cage, but they darted him before he got off Zoo grounds. But sadly 14 animals did pass away So far I have not heard of any deaths. There were a lot of people that were just stupid and went out to walk around in the rapid water.

I know this is the wrong thread and I can take them down put here are some pics, but in the mean time I will stare at all the swatches until mine arrives, so have fun for me ladies.
