Just got the pink lipstick from this collection The package/tube is soooo cheesy cheap...CHEAP dollar store in feel & looks. Super plastic thin cheap feeling! Did I say CHEAP! The shade is pretty on. It is basically my natural lip shade but a tad more pink & has some shine to it. It is very smooth & soft on.

Thanks, it's a really skip for me then. I think it's funny as well that the cs said that. They could have made this a nice collection had they put some thought into it & not cut corners to save a little $.

MAC must think their customers will buy anything in special packaging. They should've learned many years ago that is not the case & why so many end up at CCOs. They need to shape up.
I loved the Baroque Boudoir collection with the silver from 2009. I bought the powder compact. The lipstick that I wanted had sold out & cs found me one at a MAC store in LA & the shipping wasn't cheap. I swatched them but still have them in their box. I think some people didn't care for the packaging but I thought it was pretty & well done.

Also loved the Holiday 2007 Antiquitease Collection. The metal palettes were sturdy with some weight. I bought way too much from that collection. I gave the brushes to my niece but kept the clutch. I have no idea why as it is still in the plastic. The packaging pulled me in.

Seriously, CS should be trained better, even though I appreciate that they spoke the truth. MAC has never been good with CS - because customers would still buy it. But times have changed. Still, it is very weird. Just image you would go to a restaurant and the waitress would say that the food is low quality.

True! Mac sent me an email yesterday about my complaint. They tried to call me, but we block calls without a number LOL. I spent a ridiculous amount of wasted time on the phone on hold twice while they read "notes" for almost 20 minutes, then a supervisor got on the phone & I repeated myself again. Today I got an email asking for all this detailed information, batch # etc. I just deleted it. What is it that they didn't understand about a cheesy cheap plastic less than dollar store packaging I'm not wasting anymore of my time with it. I guess they will have to find out on their own. I did get the red lipstick yesterday because I ordered it before I got the pink one, & it is a gorgeous true red nice matte on & it has amazing staying power through drinking etc. I still hate the packaging.
