MAC X Toledo Collection (Feb 5, 2015)

I just got off the phone with the Oak Brook, IL store and snagged Oxblood lip gloss. I can relate to the cold! Iowa winters ain't no joke!  I will be glad to move away from the Midwest in a couple of weeks Yeah the low buy struggle  is real! Today a heroine lip gloss and a beet lip pencil.  I am moving in about 2 weeks to Virginia and I gotta behave! Packages are held at UPS so I can pick them up and sneak them in the house... OMG this is gorgeous on you! LOVE

OB gloss is better than the lipstick (I'm NC50). I tried it at the counter today but I decided to skip since I already have a dupe from NYX. Now I think I may order the green shadow palette instead. Good luck with your move.

Oxblood gloss -

Adorable sweet & sexy pale rose peachy nude. LOVE it on. I just ordered another.

Kindergarten Red blush - LOVE LOVE it on. Its a soft pale strawberry peaches & cream healthy flush skin shade. Mine is very pigmented & soft. I used the darker red part on the apples of my cheeks blended back & then used the top lightest shade to highlight high on the cheekbone.The oxblood gloss with this blush is a very pretty healthy look combo.

Well... I decided I liked Kinda Sexy better than I liked Oxblood so I sold my Oxblood l/s to my coworker for retail price. She is just now getting into MAC and this is her first LE lippie. She was beyond ecstatic that I decided to give it up. I was beyond ecstatic to have been the person who started her new MAC limited edition collection obsession lol #TeamEnabler and to have given her a little pick me up as she has been having a rough week. Felt good to own Oxblood for a couple hours but felt even better to have put a smile on someone's face and shared my hobby/obsession with a friend. I do really love Oxblood lipglass though and mine doesn't smell funny at all. My Sin lippie however smells like coconut/plastic just as others have described. You win some, you lose some lol.

Oh and I swatched RP and KR in store today. RP had that awful film on it, no pigmentation whatsoever on my NC45 skin. KR was just pink. Womp Womp

Kinda Sexy applies better and is a tad bit pinker on me. I tried it with Dervish liner and I'm loving it. Glad someone else is a fan of that lippie

I found Oxblood to be too peach on me, I prefer a pinkier undertone as well.

7 lol I'm no guru but I do love makeup and yes Dervish is perm but I think it is S/O online right now. I picked mine up in store so you may want to try that and then that way you can give it a swatch and see how you like it its very pretty imo

Everyone looks so beautiful in their goodies from this collection! I picked up Ripe Peach, Azalea Blossom, and Oxblood l/s. I had ordered RP from Bloomingdales since the blushes are listed as $30 there but they never got AB so ordered it from Mac with overnight shipping and got it today. Honestly the pigmentation wasn't that bad for me but I am super pale. It didn't show up on my fingers but I went in fairly hard with my Marc Jacobs blush brush and got a good amount to show up on my cheeks and it blended nicely. I will say I'm disappointed that mine has less lavender and more pink. I paired it with Yield to Love and they looked very nice together. I think I'm going to pick up that Marc Jacobs lavender blush during the Sephora sale now. I went to Macy's after work today (around 6:00) and they had all the lipsticks in stock except Sin but were actually sold out of two of the eyeshadow palettes. I tried on Oxblood and surprisingly liked it on me. It definitely wasn't as pink as some of the swatches but neither was it as dark. It was actually more of what I wanted Pander Me to look like so I'm happy I got it. Hopefully my RP will be here by the weekend so I can play with all of it together.

Sending all my blushes back already have a return label waiting to come to me. I went to the store when I got off work to test them before I got home and holy hell no lol I usually to mostly can pull off anything but these blushes were terrible and they looked like something from a Nars blush which I have their whole collection. I did get oxblood lipstick and lipglass since I didn't have kinda sexy. I swatched both and they are def identical, so I had to get the LE one lol. Such a sad case on the blush. My first return to MAC via mail

Usually in April they have a 15% off sale. Lets hope it happens again this year.
