Maidenchant Blushcreme

Does anyone find that it makes them look more sweaty than glow-y? lol It's such a beautiful color in the pan but I look like such a greaseball wearing it! My Sweet William never did this to me? Just curious if I'm the only one this happened to!

I saw them when I went to the counter, I passed on it though because Im afraid they'll make my pores look larger then they already are haha. I did swatch it and it's really pretty..

could you post a pic of you wearing it, or swatched? I was really interested in this blushcreme but having second thoughts after hearing this.

It looks very pretty to me until I tried to put in on my cheeks - I looked like I was sweating only on my cheeks! lol It could just not be for me though.

I wouldn't say it makes you a "greasebucket", but there is some definate glitter particles in it. I am still waiting for tomorrow when I can do a proper application.

Let us know how it works for you! I'm going to give it one more try and if I don't like it still I'm going to return it

I hope you have better luck with it!

you might want to dust a loose powder over it and see if that helps cut down on the grease effect. hope it works out for you, it's a gorgeous colour!

I don't get sweaty greasebucket here, only a post-naughtiness flush.

As with any shimmer, I'm careful not to put it on areas with monster
pores. But I'm going to see if its a bit more flexible on a fresh face with foundation primer.

Wearing it today,. applied with the 192,.. Very nice sheer application,.. it does have shimmer and I had to use a lot LESS of this than I do my Blossoming. Thankfully I always start at barely noticeable and work up,.. I barely patted the creme with my brush and applied and that about did it. It is lovely and I have to use so little it will probably last me forever and a day,....

I LOVE that description!
ITA though on application of this type of product, I'm sure having a primer underneith will help.

Is it me, or were both blushcremes super glittery? I tried them both at a counter and they had really chunky glitter that I passed on both even though the base colors were so pretty.

But then I also stopped into a freestanding store and swatched them again, but noticed no glitter (or at least not to the degree as earlier).

Were the testers at the counter just cross-contaminated from someone with glitter already on their fingers?

Yeah - I found Maidenchant to be super glittery too. I didn't get too good of a look at the other one though. Maybe it was the lighting that made them look less glittery later on?

that is so true! lol I saw it at the store and it looked really pretty in the pot. Not sure how it looks on though, but it looked like a golden peachy color. I wanted it really badly but couldn't afford it. it really was gorgeous in the pan though!

I limited myself to 4 items (3 e/s and Haunting f/l) but I'm definitely going back for Lune! I thought it might be a bit too light for me (NC35), but I think it'll go well under another blush at the very least, definitely looking to pair it with Apripeach (hopefully I can score a sample!) or Shell b/p. =D

Super glittery is what I thought too. I thought I would love these (I love shimmer/pearl/frost), but swatched on my hand & thought "eek" I can't wear these! I passed. IMO anyone that is thinking of buying these, really need to see IRL.

I had the same experience. I really loved both of the pearly blushcremes that came out with Culturebloom and so I was really looking forward to these. But the shimmer in Lune and Maidenchant is nowhere near subtle! There's at least twice the amount of pearl and glitter particles in the Lure blushcremes. They looked garish swatched on the back of my hands. My cheeks aren't finely pored enough to wear them!
