Matte, Shimmery, or Sparkley? Which do you prefer.

I like matte the best for my skin and eyes, I prefer glossy lips though. i don't like looking healthy or 'dewy', matte skin is perfect skin IMO. I am a glitter slut though haha

I don't like glitter either. Unless it's Halloween or something lol. I like slight shimmer, it gives that glowy look.

I like glitter for nighttime looks or for fun. It can be very strong for other situations, like going to work. For every day, I'd say shimmery makeup for the eyes, soft matte for my face, and a cream or gloss for my lips.

I like my face matte as it looks like I have much better skin. I like a bit of shimmer somewhere in my eyeshadow because all matte eyeshadows can look a little harsh sometimes. With my lips it depends on my mood, haha. Sometimes I like matte lipsticks and other times I'll want to wear sheer lipgloss.

I love subtle shimmer. It just gives the skin a nice finish to me.

I am really picky about some of the products I use, but most of the time I go for low-key shimmer products. I agree with the poster above, subtle shimmer is totally me! Think Lovely Lily pigment.

On the other hand, matte bores me sometimes and sparkley is just a no-no for me. To tell you how picky I am... Viva Glam V lipglass is a great colour, but I hate it because of the big chunks of shimmer inside. Also Dazzleray pigment or Softwash Grey -- just not my thing I guess!
