Money question

I know you shouldn't talk about money, but I'm just very curious:
How much (approximately) does a average MA earn?
I realize that the job itself is so fantastic that money isn't the main issue,
but I would like to have an idea.

I think it's all dependent on the type of work they are doing... is it editorial? Believe it, editorial doesn't pay as much... maybe $200-$300 a shoot. If you do retail, it's dependant upon the store.... or something like that....

depends on the region and various other factors. I live in SF, CA and everyone at my counter makes anywhere from $17-$24 an hour (not including managers, 3rd keys etc who make much more than that)
