My "Quad of Shame" :/

yeah, velour's been neglected by me too. twillery didn't flatter, too.

great thread! i almost got idol eyes. i also swapped or sold off those that didn't work for me, so i don't really have a quad of shame or reject quad. i was first blown away by veluxe pearls but i think it's mostly thanks to leisuretime (expensive pink and satellite dreams are ok). stars 'n rockets disappointed me to high heavens. some frosts and velvets also turned me off i could indeed do w/o this brand. was it just me? in the end, i became more impressed by the satins.

Definitely Idol Eyes, I'd also add Banshee and Honesty (tho I keep trying to use Honesty in some way). All lustres, so guess why they're there. *sigh* And last but not least, not quite e/s, but Forest Green pigment is definitely in my "quad" of shame. I have no clue how to make this work, it's so hard to blend (I find) and just looks like a dark yucky mess on me.

banshee - so pretty on my hand, and in the pan. just horrible on me.
sprout - i really wanted to like this, and tried so hard to get it. i was so disappointed.
prose and fancy - i've had 3, the first 2 died during de-potting accidents, which is odd, since those are the only 2 out of 100+ shadows that ever got destroyed during depotting.

i have to say though, this thread makes me realize the diversity of mac fans, because there are some shadows i see mentioned in this thread that i could not live without, especially contrast, which i use almost daily, honesty, which is my favorite neutral ever, and beauty marked, like contrast, i use it SO often as a crease color. i love seeing how some things work for some of us, and not for the rest of us. i realize now why mac has such a HUGE selection of colors available

My quad of shame would be:

IDOL EYES
HONESTY
PLUM (Pro) - chalky/bad color
SILLY GOOSE - strange matte color/can't figure out how to make it look good!
