Thank you Med!
Thank you Bcteagirl! I didn't want to go all white and fluffy - after all, I'm not in my twenties any longer and it *was* November - and was really happy about everything turned out.
That's so sweet, Fuzzy! I was aiming for that classic retro look - I wish I could wear my hair like this every day, but alas, to have the hairdresser come to my house in the morning would get very expensive very soon!
Thanks MRV! I think we both were happy that everything was over, we both were incredibly nervous before. The best part was when everybody left and we could spend the time with each other!
Naughtyp, I'm so sorry. I hope you feel slightly better now? I hope you weren't hurt at the accident!
Take care dear!
Thank you Naynadine!
I've to admit that I started to feel slightly guilty after I posted the pics - here was I, in my happiness, and so many ladies are unhappy right now. I can absolutely relate - I was single and lonely for so long, and then I met my husband at the most unlikely time. I had a very fulfilling job then - now I'm unemployed. I've come to the opinion that there's always something in your life that works, and something that needs work. YKWIM? But astonishing things can turn up. They truly can.
Thank you, PDF! Glad you guys like them!
I'm so sorry, Med. I'm truly happy that your life changed again after this tragedy and you met another good man.
LOVE this comment!
Hi HOB! Good to see you! Omg, the fire sounds scary. I can imagine that it's a huge inconvenience to work in a different location. I hope your files/PC etc could be saved!
Awwwwwwwww. That's so sweet. When I was at home the cats always came over when I polished my nails, but I was always afraid that their hair cought on the wet polish!
Tell Buick she should come over and chat! It's not about hauling np, it's about LOVING np!
We should start a book thread! How do you find Allegiant? I've read some bad reviews and hold back buying it for now.
Phew, that was a lot of quotes. I hope I didn't forget anybody who commented on the pics and will say 'Thank you!!!' just in case.
I'm quite excited right now because we'll leave for a short trip to London on Friday morning. Besides doing a lot of cultural stuff, shopping and watching the Doctor Who Anniversary at the cinema (yay!!!) I'll do a makeup class at Illamasqua. Very very excited!
My Grandma had to always do her hair because her's was poker straight and that was not in style at the time! She still goes to get her hair permed... And complains that her sister had naturally curly hair LOL She had one of those high-neck, long-sleeved wedding dresses with a million buttons up the back.
I love the big rollers in your new profile pic.
I may be alone, but that just means I can have spring rolls and chocolate chip cookies for breakfast and nobody can tell me that it's wrong!

I use a lot of drugstore polishes lately, because I've no money and they're easily available (for little money lol) and I quite like the results. They really have become a lot better, with striking textures and even nice holos!
That's the first Maybelline Brocade np I tried, Woven Skyline.
A slightly more expensive drugstore polish I've never tried before. This held up greatly - no chips or tipwear for three days which is phenomenal for me.

Aaaand a 1,50€ polish (Rival de Loop in Perfect Rainbow) over a black base. I was debating over getting the Artdeco ones, but this is just as nice for the fraction of the price imo. I got another one I'll have to try soon.
