Thank you CC! I'd really love to have a start in making indie polishes, but it's nearly impossible to get the supplies over here.
Thanks Med! Hope you had a wonderful Hanukkah!
Somehow your quote doens't show up? Specktra can act so strange sometimes!
Anywayws, I was so happy to get especially Accent and Pale Barley. Douglas gave me the hardest time with Accent, their CS really is a joke. So I was really very happy to see the Chanel collection everwhere around London. We don't have a Burberry counter here and I spent now over a year hunting for it whenever I was in a city with a counter! Finally! The Illamasqua foundation is a bit on the heavy side, but the colour matches me so well that I decided to get it. All attendees of the course get 20% off the MU, so that was a bonus. I hope they do a sale after christmas like last year, I want to get some things like Hollow and the brow cake I tried.
Thank you! I just love the combo of blue and silvery glitter this time of the year!
Thank you! I started from scratch so to speak - there's no existing polish that I used to make it. I used different blue pigments and a bit of black, round silver dots and two different sets of different shaped glitter, one matte white and one with holo glitters. I had so much fun making it - I did a few different ones but this was the one I loved most. I'll post the other ones when I'll wear them. But I hope this one holds up well on my nails, because I decorated the apartment yesterday and got a nasty cut on my thumb from the lametta, and I don't want to imagine how that feels when NP remover comes in contact with it!
My husband dragged me into Penhaligons and we had so much fun there. We had a wonderful SA who threw in so many samples! My husband gave me the candle because he bought Elixir which I hate.
Love the mani as usual!
I love mking polishes. It's very soothing somehow (or are that the fumes lol?). I used solution base, two blue and one black pigment and three different types of glitters. (I answered that above.) I really want to do another version with the round and matte white glitters and instead of the holo glitters add some teeny tiny holo hexes. But I've run out of bottles and it's such a bother to always order everything from oversea. If that was easier I'd start to make a lot more of them!
