Does anyone know if Vivien is close to Mac Captive?

I can't get any swatches right now but I'd say that both shades are sort of similar, except Vivien is definitely deeper while MAC Captive is more muted. Vivien looks more berry toned and MAC Captive is more of a mauve berry.

I don't have Captive anymore, but that was my recollection as well. Captive definitely struck me as more muted.

You do! Both are do gorgeous if you love berry tones (I do). Vivien is cooler and a bit more muted and deeper. Vera is redder and brighter, but not as bold as a full on red.

Sooooooooooooo I got Anna, her and I aren't getting a long. I know I know.. she seems like the type that will get along with everyone. Not so much, she's kinda funny actin' with me. I might take her out again... but she's rather boring with me.

She's a virtually universal neutral color for most...I wouldn't say she's a terribly showstopping color but she's one that you can wear and not worry if she looks good on you.

that's why I'm going to try her again to be sure. I had been wearing a bunch of eye popping colors and when I put her on, it was like meh.. but it still isn't as pretty as the pics in here.
