WowWearing callisto today with couple of other eyeshadows from the Narsissist palette

Picked up 3 of the 4 Nars Dual Intensity es that I planned on getting today (Subra, Desdemona and Phoebe) Not all the colors are at each location They are really nice and beautiful. May look a tad bit similar in the pic but all translate differently once swatched. The only con is the price as even with a Nordies note $20 they were still expensive. Will get Giove eventually at another Nordies.

Callisto -all over the lid
Nepal-middle of the lid and slightly above the crease
Lhasa and Ashes to ashes in the outer corner and into the crease
Brousse 2 and Pandora 2 outer corner to make it darker

Finally got a chance to swatch these instore today, they are stunning! Dione and Himalia were my favourites and I will definitely be picking those up soon. They didn't have all the shades though so I didn't get to test out all the ones I was interested in, but I guess that will be better for my wallet since I'm only going to start off with two

Some quick swatches I did while in sephora, I didn't expect to like them, but I may have to add subra to my wishlist because I don't think I have anything like it. The textures felt really smooth and the swatches are made with only 1 swipe.
If I'm remembering correctly himalia looked like it had slightly more pink to it against my skin tone with the naked eye, but the other three were pretty on point.

I agree, that price really has me holding back. I keep thinking maybe I can find something similar for less. So far no luck lol
Have you looked at the metallics in the MUFE artist shadows? I don't know if they are exactly the same but they seem pretty good.

The Narsissist Dual Intensity Palette is available at the Nars EU shop right now - I think it was out of stock before. And, as I happily found out, you get free shipping when you buy it!
I initially only wanted the new DI e/s Pasiphae and one of the older ones, Lysithea, but the latter is part of the palette, so it was a no-brainer to buy the palette instead.

Just got my makeup done at the NARS counter and bought all the stuff they put on my eyes. We did a dramatic smokey eye a la Taylor Momson. Dual intensity eyeshadow was used in Sycorax over a velvet shadow stick in Filibuste. And kohl eyeliner plus Audacious mascara.

I have a sample of it and I do like it. You need a few coats before it's dramatic enough for my taste (at least three) but it IS a nice mascara. Doesn't flake off at all, lasts all day, good stuff. I'm gong to buy it when I run out of my MAC mascara.
