Ooh, this is news to me, I've only been to the one in Neiman Marcus at KoP.
And did you go, was there anything new?

There was noting new other than a gift with purchase of more than $250 in product ... I didn't have that much that I needed or wanted although the NARS makeup bag alone fluttered my interest. Gonna wait until I run out of something or see the Fall collection in person. For the time being the only other thing I am tempted by is the Brightening serum - it's a pretty, nice and light moisturizer ...

If Outremer really looks like that swatch then whomever did that models' makeup must've put the entire pan of shadow on her lids. LOL! Either that or she has a really blue base underneath. That swatch doesn't look good to me. I'll check it out in person though.

1) First off, swatches & pics of the Fall collection from Karen at MBB!!!

2) Secondly, a new e/s palette called "Bright Lights Big City" is set to debut at the Nordies anniversary sale on July 15 (same day the Fall collex premieres, I believe?). It sounds out-of-this-world. It includes: Cyprus, Biarritz, Fathom, Night Clubbing, Coconut Grove and Night Breed. $55
I will definitely be purchasing the new palette, since I've been wanting to try Coconut Grove & Night Clubbing for a long time anyway. From the Fall collection, I really like Montego Bay matte lippie. Pago Pago looks from the swatch to just be sheer shimmer, so I might pass but it could be something I'm interested in! I also like the taupe side of the Grand Palais duo, but the cranberry-ish side won't look good on me.

The palette is so nice. I use to always grab the palettes but it's getting to the point I have so many colours in them. Actually it may just push me to buy coconut grove and "night porter" (the night series pigment I've been eyeing for a while). ....

Thanks for the swatch link! Whenever I see Karen's swatches, I have to remind myself that things look quite different on her than on me, since her skin is quite a bit deeper and warmer than mine. (Strangely, it's the fact that she's warmer-toned that seems to make the biggest difference.) Although she says that Outremer can be built up for more colour, I'm not even crazy about the way it looks on her eyes. This may be one of those shades where skin tone makes a difference, but I'm not sure I love it. I really wanted it to look the way it does in the pan. Instead, it seems a little dirty-looking.
Grand Palais looks lovely, but that taupe shade seems kind of close to the one in Dogon, which I already have. I'm still loving Delphes and the lip products are going to do me in.
I doubt we'll be getting that palette up here in Canada, but I do highly recommend the "Night Series". I have Night Clubbing, Night Porter and Night Star and I love all of them. The only ones that give me pause are Night Rider and Night Breed (although I love the name), which have glitter rather than shimmer... I'm always a little worried about fallout.

I find the Nordstrom palettes end up in Holt Renfrew here in Canada. .... I have Night breed it is very much a matte black .... I use it to line but I'm sure it can be played up with a base to showcase the silver shimmer/glitter. I haven't had an issue with fall-out but I just use a bit at a time.

Hrm, based on Karen's swatches I think I'll only pick up Mascate. I have the opposite problem of you Katred--Karen's swatches are most reliable for me since she's closest to my skin tone of all the bloggers (I'm maybe a half shade darker). I just wish she'd swatch a little more heavily.

Yeah, Karen did do a wonderful job with that shadow. It reminds me that I don't have anything quite like it. I might have to buy it now.

I WANT that damn palette! I hope my Nars counter at the Bay gets it, I'm gonna call my SA there tomorrow and ask.
I'm not really liking the e/s in the actual fall collection though. The lip products, now those are gonna do me in!

I would guess that a damp angle eye brush would easily get that look on the model using Outremer. NARS shadows an be used wet or dry for very different effects.

Thank you all ladies for the swatches! I really like the e/s trio and duo, and the Montego Bay matte lipstick.
