T has her first review up. So-so on Vent Glace:  http://www.temptalia.com/nars-vent-glace-eyeshadow-duo-review-photos-swatches Aradhana- I don't think anyone has the collection out yet, although I wasn't in Holt's this week. I know that The Bay downtown is having a special "pre-launch" event on Thursday and Friday, so they may have swung a deal to get it a couple of days earlier than everybody else. If you go by the counter or call them, they'll set you up with an appointment, I'm certain.  Also, I noticed that the collection is live on the Canadian web site as well too... The relaunch of the web site last year REALLY sped up their collections up here. We used to be a good month behind the States, at least.  I'm seriously going to have to rein myself in next week, because nothing I see is silencing the "buy all the things" voice in my head.
thanks Kate. I'll try phoning the bay.... lol re the buy all the things. I feel a little that way, because I think it will be a struggle to just pick one or two things. but, as we've discussed in the past, it's rare for nars stuff to totally sell out without a hope, so at least there is time to space out the purchases! and hey, not even fall yet! (hope that helped a little)

I too placed my order on the blush on Thursday and it shipped the next day. It is coming tomorrow and that was really fast!

EDIT://
I have tracked it and I don't know when it's coming now since the tracking of my order hasn't been updated since the 14th.

T's review on Outlaw--D+. Ouch! She says it's being added to the permanent line.

I can't usually agree with her opinion.
She also gave Marie-galante duo D-, but I really loved it after I got. I think it depends on makeup skills to feel which good/bad items are.

I think most of this collection is becoming permanent, other than the trio. I saw her review and swatches and Karen's as well. Although Karen (MUBB) loved Outlaw, I have to say that her swatch looked pretty sheer as well.

I really like my Marie-Galante, so I hold out some hope, but I think that the difference there is that MG was an odd sort of product- not like regular Nars shadows in many ways- whereas Outlaw is supposed to be like a normal Nars blush from what I can see. I'm really hoping that it looks lovely in person. I know that some people on this thread have ordered it already, so maybe they can offer their opinions.

I think Karen said she's putting it on with a fan brush? So she probably wanted it to look sheer.

Ah, I don't know... I wanted something that would look good on me when I wear purple toned lippies. The pink blushes I have made me look weird with it. I thought it was because it's too cool looking. And maybe, Outlaw is the one for me. Now I'm not so sure anymore.... Maybe I should just go with some beige highlighter instead? Any thoughts?

Thanks for the Scrangie link, Katred! I agree, the lips look gorgeous! I'm lemming Autumn Leaves now...

@Monsy: Did you choose Fedex smartpost when you placed an order?
I chose it (which was the only free shipping choice for my order) and the order status is still "In progress" almost for 4 days.

I saw T's review of the trio and thought it looked very pretty! The duo also looks very pretty in the reviews I read so far. When I first saw the products pictures, there wasn't anything I want but they look very pretty on, including the lippies.

T's review of Outlaw has scared me! I was soooo excitd about that blush as it looks pretty unique. Other than I'm no longer caring for the duo. But I know for sure I want Autumn Leaves l/s. Nars sheer lipsticks are awesome formula and that is just a beautil shade.

I ordered as soon as I got the email on the 12th. It hasn't moved from the original FedEx location since the 12th. Ugh. Tomorrow is a week. I go on vacation next week. Hate smartpost.

Please dont let Temptalia's rating affect you. Blush is beautiful! I didnt notice diffirence in texture between Outlaw and Deep throat for example. Yes, it is not as soft and powdery as Amore for example, but trust me you will love the fact that you dont have to be super extra careful application of blush, it is pigmented Raspberry red and it is so easy to overdo if it would be usual Nars texture.

I agree. Temptalia provides a point of view on a product, not an absolute truth. And since she holds everything to impossibly high standards, she necessarily sees "flaws" that some would not even notice or care about. So if you can, give it a try in person and see if it's great for you. :)

Thanks ladies. I'm definitely going to wait and give this one a try in person. I find with all reviews on any site, there is always an element of our own preferences and expectations that colour our response to a product. There are certain web sites I read a bit more closely, because I find that the reviewer and I have similar opinions on what we like about certain products, but ultimately, it always helps to see the product in person when you can.

No problem! ;)
I agree about everything you said. But I feel that she too often focuses on the negative instead of highlighting the positive.
Anyway I can imagine Outlaw looking wonderful on you. :)
