I want the gray polish and I will check out both lipsticks in person but I'm pretty sure I will be getting La Paz

I'm so confused... There's always a difference between her and T in terms of how colours look on their skin (Karen is darker and the warmth in her skin has a bit more brown/ olive to it), but even if you leave aside the fact that they look more pigmented on Karen's skin, the shades look completely different. In fact, they all look quite a bit pinker, which you'd think would be the opposite of what would happen. Kamchatka looks stunning in her swatch. Although it looked a bit sheer in T's swatch, I really love Namibia. I'd actually love to try both of those with Euphrate from the Summer collection.

Among the lipsticks, I'm definitely interested in MR and I have to admit that I don't have anything like La Paz. My only concern with the latter is that T mentions it being drier than the usual formula. Drying formulas of any sort strike fear in me because my office is such a desert wasteland. (Second weird confession: I don't own a single one of Nars matte velvet lip pencils or Pure Matte lipsticks, despite the fact that I find their regular semi-matte formula very easy on the lips.)

Their swatches are indeed VERY different. Bavaria looks like a bluish teal on T's site and on Karen's site it's almost a light blue

Yes, I agree! T's swatches made me go "blah" and Karen makes me want everything! I mean EVERYTHING!

I can see there's bluish-violet undertone, but no one mentioned it on their reviews, so that's why I'm wondering.

It definitely looks like a cooler grey in Karen's swatches- more neutral in T's but not a warm grey at all.

She looks so pretty. At a glance it reminded me of MAC's Parisian Skies. Could be the lighting.

Review of Kamchatka and Namibia from The Non-Blonde:

Pigmentation for the shadows looks particularly dire in her swatches.

One thing I have found with Nars' matte shades though is that while all their shades can be used dry or wet, the powdery mattes require a damp brush to get the full effect of the colour. Otherwise, they blend away too easily.

I'm still interested in Namibia... I'll have to see how Kamchatka looks on me, because those sorts of colours either work or make me look like I've been on a coke bender for a week.

I can't decide whether I'll get Namibia and Yamal. Based on her swatch, it makes me not to buy Namibia b/c it's not the color than I expected. :(
I think we need more swatches!

Did you all pick up anything from the collection? I bought only this one eyeshadow....saw Bavaria too, but didn't want another bluish-tealishhh-shimmmerish thing....it seems similar to the color in Chanel Metamorphose quad. Am saving up for the palettes...they look good in the photos, don't they?

Karen's swatches are gorgeous and makes me want both of them more. It is too bad she found them drying. Now I am torn between the pretty and prune lips
