I was so sure that for once I'd gotten in ahead of you, but you beat me every time!

Floralies is named after a garden in Montreal. It looks like it would be a very nice shade, but it's the sort of colour that makes me look like a particularly unhealthy dead person.

Oh well... plenty of other shades to choose from...

Floralies is not the same as Jardin Botanique, right?

Also contains great descriptions of where the names actually come from. It figures that the one named for the city I call home is a shade that I can't possibly wear... The shades look beautiful, though!

Our hearts are apparently working from the same script. Golshan is certainly one of my favourites from the swatches I've seen. I think it would look stunning with your colouring!

Karen is selling me on Luxembourg and Hyde Park, which is surprising since I was only looking at Isola Bella and Biscayne Park originally.
Sort of wonder if Luxembourg is worth it if I already have Impassioned, though.

Interesting that despite their apparent creaminess, no one seems to be mentioning feathering or bleeding as a problem- that was the only thing I was worried about and it doesn't seem to be an issue.

FYI, if you're in Canada and haven't received an email to this effect already, apparently Holt Renfrew has this exclusively, at least for the time being. I expect they'll be everywhere soon enough.

Now that hot pink shades are in high demand (Yoon Eun-Hye, a Korean actress wore a hot pink shade in the show "I miss you", and it sent NARS Schiap lipstick sales up 500%, eventually leading it to it being sold out), I guess Yu is going to sell very very very well.

I don't speak Korean, but that's where I got the info:

But even if it's not exactly correct, Asian message boards are all filled with Schiap swatches and all the possible dupes there are.

You know, Schiap lipstick is unavailable on all NARS websites, and on FR and US Sephora websites as well. I think they took all the stock and sent it to Asia to deal with the demand. You can see on NARS FB page that some people believe Schiap has been discontinued, and I'm pretty sure some would buy it for $50 on eBay because they don't know it will come back, eventually. :/

Very interesting! Love the new avatar, by the way- gorgeous lip! I find that hot pinks are workable on virtually any complexion, so I'm not surprised that they are popular as a general rule. Yu strikes me as the sort of shade that will develop the same kind of cult following as Schiap and Candy Yum Yum.
