It actually looked warmer when I swatched it on my hand, but I seem to sap the warmth out of everything I touch. It still does lean a bit warm on me. I think on women with a more golden undertone, it will look almost brown.
I'm also wearing Seduction blush, the LRSP and the Radiant Creamy Concealer in Vanilla. The link to my review of all of my new Nars goodies is in my signature... Short version: Wow, I am even more impressed than I thought I would be with all the new Nars products that have come out in the last few months.

Thanks very much ladies! Really impressed with the lip colour and how lovely it feels. Reminds me a little of the Rouge d'Armani formula, actually, although it's not quite as long-lasting. The really remarkable thing is how even it is with a single pass. I don't think I've ever seen one as good in that regard. And despite my hesitation about the pencil format in general (I hate that you lose product when you sharpen!), I have to admit that I love the precision that it offers.

The satin lip pencils just came to my counter and I got to swatch them. I didn't have a lot of time, so I swatched those that I have my eyes on. They go on smoothly and evenly on my hand! I want to swatch all of them the next time I'm there. Of those I swatched, I like Biscayne Park, Majella and Yu, of course. No JDP at my counter. Majella reminds me of Chanel Pirate RA. Lodhi was more orange on me, and less pink.
Schiap lipstick was finally in stock too! I came back with Schiap and Yu although on my hand, they both look the same in terms of colour. Yu is more glossy while Schiap is matte. Carthage is not as close, it is lighter and has more white although it is still a hot pink.
Are the satin lip pencils easy to sharpen? Or tricky like the gloss pencils?

So I went to my Nars counter yesterday and tested every single one of these on my lips and ended up walking out with Luxembourg. I loved so many of them though. I know I want Lodhi, Yu and Golshan eventually as well. But to me Luxembourg was the best shade of them all. It's such a sophisticated pinky red and it brightens my complexion.
